Is it just me, or does anybody else think it is time for Weeds to come to an end?

I just found out that Showtime has announced that they have picked up Weeds for a 7th season. I understand that television shows will naturally evolve from year to year, but I feel that Weeds has changed so much since its first year that it has lost much of what made it great. We're like 8 episodes or so into season 6 and hardly anything has happened. I wasn't crazy about season 5, and the only reason I watched season 6 was to find out what happened as a result of Shane killing Pilar. Is that what they're going to do with season 6? Just muddle through long enough to get to the finale, and then leave us with some huge cliffhanger so that we have to come back for season 7? I don't want them just to cancel it, because I want to see closure and I want to see the Botwins come to a place in their lives where they stabilize, but come on, it has gone far enough. It has gone so far that it's a little ridiculous. Andy is scamming people pretending to be a preacher, Shane has become some monster/sociopath, Silas is just taking up space, the baby makes random appearances but mostly just serves to interrupt the plot rather than to move it, and Nancy has lost everything I liked about her at first and is just a total mess. Anybody have any thoughts? Is it just me, or does anybody else think it is time for Weeds to come to an end?
the best part about the show is to see them grow up through the years. a middle-aged widowed drug dealing mom is kinda ridiculous itself done you think? im glad andy stopped trying to get with nancy and i love that shane is a psychopath. i also like the fact that they lost everything and are trying to find a place to settle down. im really glad that they got that damn song off the opening credits. after the third season i wanted to kill myself
