Honey, they're ALL appropriate for all ages! If you see a ride (even a little kid ride) that you think you want to go on, then go!! Take a look at Peter Pan's Flight in the Magic Kingdom. It's probably what you would call a "little kid ride", but it actually has Fastpass machines, it's so popular. It's also one of the cutest rides in the park. My husband and I always go on it, even though we're in our 50s.
Never mind about age-approprate rides...when you're at Disney World, you're allowed to be a kid at heart!
Have a great trip!

We've been to WDW 13 times. My husband %26amp; daughter (she's 17) love all the rides. I'm more like you %26amp; your dad. Milton gave you great suggestions. The only ones you probably wouldn't like are Space Mountain %26amp; Tower of Terror. Mission Space would be OK, if you do the mild ride. Use Fast Passes (free) to save time. Go to their website, %26amp; get a personalized map to plan your trip. Don't forget the sunscreen %26amp; light rain jackets. Have Fun!
Make sure you get a map out before you go and somewhat schedule your day. My friend and I went and knowing what we wanted to ride before we went worked really well so we weren't always running in circles and we didn't leave and wish we'd riden something. What rides at walt disney world should I do if I am going with just my dad?
If you are on limited time, you'll probably have enough to do to just hit the greatest rides in each park. The best rides without roller coasters are:
--Mission Space and Test Track in Epcot, and Norway or some of the other shows if you have time. Test Track looks a little scary, but it's like riding in a convertible on a highway--no biggy. Also, the Moroccan pavilion has the best food, probably in all of Disney World.
--Space Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain are technically coaster-type rides, but I hated roller coasters as a kid and loved these because they have no loops or major drops, just high speeds; Pirates of the Caribbean; and Haunted Mansion, all in the Magic Kingdom. Philharmagic is also cool, and It's a Small World is kind of a classic, so you should go even if it isn't as fast or crazy.
--For Animal Kingdom, Kali River Rapids, though you'll probably get wet, and the indoor dinosaur ride (NOT the goofy dinosaur outdoor kids roller coaster, though you can do it if you have time-it's pretty tame). I can never remember what the real dinosaur ride is really called.
--MGM--Tower of Terror isn't really a roller coaster, but to me, it's a lot scarier than a real roller coaster--beware!
Skip the Nemo ride and Soarin' at EPCOT if you are short on time. Not the greatest rides ever, though they have a lot of hype, and Soarin' usually has a huge line.
I am just back. The green team ride at Mission Space can be handled by anyone unless they are claustrophobic. Do not miss "The Land" hydroponic gardens as it is the only science exhibit left.
I agree on....
The Hall of Presidents
Honey, I Shrunk the Audience
Mickey's Philharmonic
Mission Space
Spaceship Earth
and there was a ride in the American Pavilion I don't recall the name of.
I ate at the German pavilion which was pricey, but good.
Haunted Mansion is always good.
Pirates of the Caribbean is a yawner
The ride I would never waste time on again is "It's a Small World". Where the heck was the American Cowboy?
Oh, and the ride at the Energy Pavilion is good.
The NEMO ride is lame, but the aquarium is very nice. Watch out for the dolphins. If you are ignoring them, they will charge the glass just to draw a crowd then go off and snicker where you can't see them.
If you are going in October or early November, lines are short. Wait and see what conditions are before getting a Fast Pass. Most of the rides we were able to get right on (even Spaceship Earth).
