Where is the cheapest place to get Disney tickets and what type shall I get?

I'm going to Florida in two weeks and I need to buy some Disney tickets for me and the wife. Where is the best place to buy them? Online? Or over there?

We only intend to go to the four main parks epcot, Disney studios(MGM), then spend half a day at animal kindom and the magic kingdom. What would be the best ticket?Where is the cheapest place to get Disney tickets and what type shall I get?
The sale of Disney tickets are strictly regulated.

Authorized dealers all charge about the same, and if you don't buy from an authorized dealer you could find yourself stuck in the parking lot.

There are a lot of frauds out there... they buy up tickets from people leaving who have a day or two left on the ticket. Then they upgrade it at Disney and sell it to you... the problem is that Disney tickets are not transferrable and they have a bar code linked to a finger scan you do at the turnstile.

I have seen people standing there at the turnstile, crying, because they thought they saved $20 their ticket is no good... and Disney comfiscates the tickets and doesn't let you in. It's not a pretty sight.

It just isn't worth it... cut corners on the souvaniers, the meals, etc; don't try to cut corners on tickets your you may end up in FL with nothing to do.

Ticket you'll need to get is a 3-day pass with a park-hopper option (or you won't be able to go from park to park).
One of the cheapest ways to buy legitimate tickets is through www.undercovertourist.com If you subscribe to the newsletter at www.mousesavers.com there is a link to click that gives you a further discount, making it the cheapest place online.

I have used Undercover Tourist before and received physical tickets through the post.

Your best ticket option for what you require would be the 3-Day Magic Your Way ticket with Park Hopper. I'm assuming that you mean you will visit Animal Kingdom and the Magic Kingdom on the same day - if this is not correct, then you will need a 4-Day Magic Your Way ticket - no need for the park hopper.

I would recommend strongly against buying tickets when you are there, unless they are from the Disney ticket office. There are savings to be had, but you will usually be required to attend some kind of timeshare presentation, which can be quite lengthy, so it depends on the value you place on your time while on holiday.Where is the cheapest place to get Disney tickets and what type shall I get?
Possibly go direct to http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/tickets鈥?/a> and see what is the best option, the 5 days ticket would suit your needs, but 7 days is no more expensive, and gives you greater flexibility, if you want to return to one of the parks on another day, or visit another attraction, such as a water park or world of sports.
online is better to buy the tickets... but watch out for the sites that dont give you the "real" paper ticket, some sites allow you print at home, which is cheap looking... atttractionticketsdirect.co.uk is the best.. been using them for many years!!!

when you're over there, you can get easily but be surprised at the high prices @ the gate... n the other places such as the stalls or little ticket booths come with time shares 2... so be careful!!Where is the cheapest place to get Disney tickets and what type shall I get?
I don't know where you can get them from cheapest, but definitely get Magic Your Way Park Hoppers. HAVE FUN! I would love to go down to Disney next week.
