How long did it take for Tokyo Disney Resort to built?

Tokyo Disney Resort is the Disneyland in Japan. I need to know long the construction of the Theme Park took. I need exact and accurate answers please! Thanks! How long did it take for Tokyo Disney Resort to built?
The Tokyo Disneyland park construction took one years and 351 days.

It started on the beginning of April 1981 and finished on March 18, 1983.

The grand opening was on April 15, 1983.

In attempt to take an advantage over competitors who also interested in opening the Disneyland in other part of Japan, the Oriental Land Company (the owner of the Tokyo Disney resort) has finished soil stability construction prior to its presentation to Walt Disney Company to stress that they are ready for the immediate construction back in 1974.

That might shorten the constructions period because the Tokyo Disney resort is located on the man-maid, reclaimed land in the Tokyo bay area, which finished its construction shortly before the presentation to Walt Disney executives.

However, to built exact replica of attractions from two US Disney parks in Japan was not easy because many design drawings (for attractions) were original state and it didn't remark many of the touch-up-at-the-site changes they made when they have built those attractions at two Disney parks.

Also, because it was the first Disney park to be built outside of the United States, and the first modern large-scale theme park to be built in Japan, designers had to change the construction diagrams (for attractions and facilities) to follow the Japanese construction law and safety regulations, particularly calling for stringent earthquake-proofing which was not familiar for both Japanese and American teams.

October 22, 1998, Tokyo Disney Sea park (the second park) construction started and it completed in August 1, 2001.

It took 2 years and 285 days, and it opened in September 4th, 2001.

Reminds you that when Tokyo Disneyland opened, it didn't look like what it is today. Like other Disney parks in US, it has fewer attractions, and they add attractions one by one every year or so since they opened.

Tokyo Disneyland cost US$1.4 billion to built, and Tokyo Disney Sea cost US$3 billions.

Tokyo Disney resort had 27 million guests in 2008, and it is the most visited theme park in the world.

I hope this help.
