How to audition for Disney Channel or other TV show?

How do I go about finding out how to audition? I would mostly prefer to audition for any kind of Disney Channel show, but I'm up for any other TV show as well. However, I don't know how I can find out any information about how I can audition or when auditions are or anything. Help?? Can someone tell me when the next audition is?How to audition for Disney Channel or other TV show?
for what your asking you will need to be in LA and have a parent get an agent for you. you will

need training, experience and a good resume to get an agent. most disney or any other commercial

mainstream tv auditions aren't open calls you would be able to find out about on your own, you

will need an agent to know about them. How to audition for Disney Channel or other TV show?
there are a couple ways. they will all take somewhere between days and years, and you won't know how long it will take to get an opportunity so the main thing even though it's super cliche is not giving up.

you can:

a) ask EVERYONE you know. tell them you are looking into testing for the Disney channel and do they happen to know anyone who can help you out. There's a good chance that someone you know knows someone-who-knows-someone-who-knows-some鈥?who can help you out.

b) the old fashion way to start auditioning is to try to get an agent. if you don't have professional headshots of yourself (or pictures a friend takes of you with a really nice camera) it'd be really good to get some. Put together a resume for your acting experience (anything counts-school plays, lessons etc.) and a cover letter (google some examples) and send them out to as MANY agencies as you POSSIBLY can. there are over two hundred in los angeles so that's a lot of options. When an agency likes you, they'll call and schedule an interview and hopefully sign you. then they send you out on auditions; feel free to let them know that you'd really like to do disney channel work.

c) this one is the least likely to work but it can't hurt. those resume/pic/letter packets, instead of sending them off to agencies to do the work for you you can send them directly to disney. This guy's got all the information on their most recent auditions: http://www.featurefilmcasting.com/ it's not a scam just a guy posting the info he knows about. unless they realllllllly like your picture they won't take an unsolicited entry- an entry that no agent put in. also before you can work you have to get into the Screen Actors Guild, which happens automatically if you go with plan b.

so sorry that was frickin long, good luck to you!!!! and every once in a while open auditions will pop up so take advantage of those because they're your best shot...and mine =) break a leg
