Is Thanksgiving week a good time to visit Disney?
I usually visit Walt Disney World with the family over Easter break. However I will be starting a new career as an elementary school teacher in the fall, so I am almost positive that my spring break and my kids will be different. I am not a big fan of taking them out of school for vacation, and I am starting a new job so I can't really take a ton of time off. Thanksgiving looks like a good time to coordinate schedules. I have visited Disney more times than I can count, but never over Thanksgiving. What do you think? Is Thanksgiving week a good time to visit Disney?
i definitely recommend going during this time it is my favorite. Disney decorated for the holidays is beautiful. Also if you have never gone to Epcot's holidays around the world it is excellent. You should call dining to reserve a package for candlelight night. You get preferred seating at the theatre and a meal for a certain price depending on where you want to eat. i am actually going that very weekend, and i choose to eat at France. There is holiday story telling at America in Epcot, in Magic Kingdom they have a special party for the holidays at night. It is truly a magical time to be a Disney, oh and you cant beat the weather. Yes it will be crowded but about the same as Easter. New years is the busiest time for them.
a lot of people are saying it will be pretty crowded. WELL IT WON'T.
i've been to disney world 44 times and half of those times were in the last 2 weeks of november. if it was really crowded we wouldn't have continued to go during that ime.
and my parents have been going in november since magic kingdom opened in 1971 so obviously if it was super crowded they would have pick a different time of year.
obviously no matter when you go there will be people there but around thanksgiving is not excessively crowded and you will have to wait in lines but they aren't that long.
and it doesn't matter if you go to a park on thanksgiving its not going to be super crowded. we always went to a park on thanksgiving and the crowds weren't any heavier or lighter than the day before.
i highly recommend going at the end of november!
wether is great, lines aren't long, xmas decorations are all up.
Is Thanksgiving week a good time to visit Disney?
We also went during the kid's school break and it was really crowded. My wife used Custom Mouse Plans and it worked out really great. We didn't get stuck in the the long lines and the kids got to ride all the best rides. Some of the waits were as long as 2 hours later in the day, but we had already been on those rides. My wife is a teacher too, so we can only go on school vacations when it is crowded.
I think any time I can go to Disney is a good time! However, it will be crowded. When we went over the holidays, I hired a planning service to create touring plans so we wouldn't get stuck in long lines. We used Custom Mouse Plans and they were great. We never waited more than 15 minutes for any rides, even on New Year's Day. I would definitely use them again if I were traveling during a busy time of year. You might want to check them out.Is Thanksgiving week a good time to visit Disney?
I have been a couple of times over Thanksgiving, and it's not really that bad. I hear it has gotten worse in the last few years, but it's still not terrible. It's definitely better than Christmas, plus a lot of the decorations will be up or be going up.
Well if you have already been there over Easter you are familiar with the crowds..it is crowded during Thanksgiving but overall the weather should be in the low to mid 70's I think. And you get to see lots of Christmas decorations if you go over Thanksgiving
It will be very crowded. But not as crowded as it is between xmas %26amp; new years.
I think its a great idea. Have fun!

How to make a good deal if you want to go to Disney Land from San Francisco?
I am a student, on spring break, I want to drive to Disney Land and have fun for a day. Can you tell me what 's the easy way to say energy, money and enjoy the trip? How to make a good deal if you want to go to Disney Land from San Francisco?
Drive in a electric hybrid down on the 5 Freeway till you hit the 405. Bring your music CD's with ya as it is a long drive, at least 6 hours.
When you reach anaheim, you can stay at the Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel, which is really nice place to stay, with the prices being very reasonable.http://www.hojoanaheim.com/

How does the Disneyland meal plan differ from the Dining Plan at Disney World?
It seems to me that the World plan is a better deal than the Land plan. Am I correct? My family felt the Disney World plan was very helpful, but from what I've heard about the Disneyland plans, they're not so great. What are your experiences? How does the Disneyland meal plan differ from the Dining Plan at Disney World?

Which actor would you request to play Walt Disney in a biopic about his life?
I just want to hear suggestions on who you would want to play Walt in a biopic about his life. I would also like maybe suggestions of titles, scripting, and also which actor would be best for these roles: Diane Disney Miller, Roy O. Disney, or whoever else you can think of.Which actor would you request to play Walt Disney in a biopic about his life?
i was going to say tom hanks !
I do think Tom has the grandfather twinkle in his eye like Walt had, but the problem is that he doesn't look a lot like Walt.
As for Sean Penn, I think that he did great as Harvey Milk, but for Walt, I don't see too much resembelance between them. Just my opinion...
Just to shake the role up a bit, John Waters.Which actor would you request to play Walt Disney in a biopic about his life?
id say tom hanks or sean pen
i think two decesed actors would have done great because of resemblence or personality - walter pidgeon and danny kaye. but for today depends on the tone of the movie. i think ben afleck could do a serious or semi serious movie. if its a kind of musical maybe gene wilder if he is able to do it. just occured to me that daniel day lewis might be able to manage it.google chrome extensions used car values

Fax: 818-560-1930
Hope you get the job!!!How do you write to Disney Animation Studio to apply for a job.?
Since you are 18 and I assume starting college, your best bet is to apply to the Disney College Program. Even though you might start with doing something unrelated to animation (like gift shop) it offers a lot of opportunities to meet Animators on a face-to-face situation.
They hire International Students, its just a little bit more paperwork. There are a bunch of student programs available. If not, I suggest you go to the Disney Career website and look at job openings. Don't apply for them yourself but at least look at the job requirements they are looking for (example: work experience, styles of animation, etc). Good luck!!!

Traveling with 14 people, you may want to take a look at renting a vacation home instead of a condo. You may want to consider renting one of the homes with 5+ bedrooms. If you want to split up your travel group then you may want to consider renting two 4 bedroom homes. You may also qualify for additional discounts by using the "group travel" method.

Have a great time!
I am doing the same thing this year but we have 17 people going. The cheapest way is going to be to rent a villa. The best site I have found is www.VRBO.com. They have tons of homes. You are probably going to need a 6 or 7 bedroom yourself - it depends on how the families are divided. They are running anywhere from 1800 up to 3000 for the off season. Check them out.
The best way for you to go to Disney World with 14 people is to camp there and for you to drive there from where every you are right now and you you to go at the beginning of spring and end of winter. Also get park passes before you go there so you don't have to pay for them there. If you say on property you will get to go to a park early (early hours) and leave later then everyone else. I hope this helps.

Has anyone been to the disney store in the premium outlet mall in Orlando?
We are going to Orlando next week and I read somewhere that you could get disney merchandise (like they sell at the parks) at an extreme discount price. Have you been there?
Thanks in advance!Has anyone been to the disney store in the premium outlet mall in Orlando?
I have been there, they have good stuff, but a lot of times it is discontinued and no longer sold in the parks for various reasons.Has anyone been to the disney store in the premium outlet mall in Orlando?
I have been a few times, they have a large selection of clothing, I would guesstimate that most tiems are about 50-60% off the original price, some items they sell in the store like some of the pins are the same price as the parks. I think it is worth the trip but the parking at that mall now is horrendous, I would go farther up the road to the new premium outlets where Belz used to be..it also has a Disney outlet store...ignore what the other people said this store has nothing to do with the Disney stores, it carries exclusively items sold in the parks...Has anyone been to the disney store in the premium outlet mall in Orlando?
i have not but the disney stores are shutting down because " they aren't bringing enough profit" so i'm not sure exactly what that particular store sells but if it is the same as around here it sells mainly chilrens items as far as clothing and of course toys. but it doesn't sell anywhere near what is offered at disney world itself. such as adult clothing and theme park specific items such as items from magic kingdoms mickey hats, or mgm studios tower of terror hotel key key chain. its a good store if you're looking for general disney items like a stuffed mickey...ect

How is Disney doing during the recession? Is the industry effected?
I am trying to write a report on Disney in the recession, and i was wondering If anyone knew "How is Disney doing during the recession? Is the industry effected?"How is Disney doing during the recession? Is the industry effected?

What is a good way to get your parents to take you on a Walt Disney World Vacation?
I am trying to get my parents into taking my family (Mom, Stepdad, Sister, and Brother) on a Walt Disney World Vacation. What would be a good way to do that? One way is proboally to find an affordable way, to get to disney. What is a good way to get your parents to take you on a Walt Disney World Vacation?
You need to approach them after you have done some research. A big reason that parents don't take their families on vacation to Disney is because it is expensive. It takes a lot of research to plan an affordable vacation. Different seasons have different rates... those are really the only deals you will be able to find. Around this time of year they also offer free dining plans when you book and travel between certain dates.
EXAMPLE VACATION:
7 nights at Value Resort = $574
($82 a night x 7 nights)
5- 6 day base tickets = $1,332
($37.50 x 5 adults)
Dining = $1,050
($30.00 per person per day for 7 days)
This example vacation is already costing $2,956.
You still have to figure airfare/gas, souveneirs etc.

when we went for the 4th. time to DW, before my dad actually got the idea of going again, i kept dropping little hints, like 'Gee dad, I've been seeing a lot of advertisments for DW, I bet the park is soooo empty, it would be a great time to go down there, ya know!' or 'OMG dad, wouldn't it be great if we went to DW again for your birthday?! (His birthdayis in Jan. , we have always gone around Jan-March, it's a great time to go btw, not too many people there, and the wether is great)
So just dropping little hints and comments like that made him interested in that again, and in 3 weeks, we were in Fla. again!!! :)
I'm sooooo smooth!!!
so, drop lots of hints, and make sure to make them interesting, and benefitting for them....it works....I've accomplished it! :)
Good luck! What is a good way to get your parents to take you on a Walt Disney World Vacation?
Play around on Disney's website with their vacation builder to research some price options. If you can go in the offseason, such as January or February, prices are a lot cheaper. At some points in the year, Disney's value hotels get down to $89/night! Tickets are expensive - they just are. There's not a lot to be done about it, unfortunately.
You could check out a good planning website, such as http://www.allearsnet.com and try to come up with the cheapest way to go.
I've been to Disney World with my parents multiple times. I would first go to the Walt Disney World sites. To save money check out the value resorts or moderate resorts, on disney's official site. Those resorts tend to cost less than the other ones. Try going during an off season. Fall's almost done now, but you can go during winter. If you want to go to the water parks try going in late spring.
Hope I helped :]

Would People be more interested in traveling to Disney world if it offered a roller coster theme park?
I am doing a project for my marketing class, and my group and I decided to go for Disney. One of the ideas we are bouncing off our heads is if people will be more inclined to go to Disney world if it created a theme park just for rollercoasters. Making it more appealing to an older group of ppl. Or even if it just created a brand new GOOD roller coaster ride. Just trying to see if there is a market out there. Your opinions are greatly appreciated. Would People be more interested in traveling to Disney world if it offered a roller coster theme park?
Disney's market revolves more around theming/experience/nostalgia than thrills. In the last couple years they've tried to build some "thrill rides" to attract the teen demographic, but have done it in Disney style.
Rides (thrill or otherwise) are just part of the whole environment/show/parade gestalt experience. It is also (arguably) a family experience that caters to a wide variety of people through variety. A park filled with only roller coasters is going to attract a certain demographic, but will be out of reach to small children, and many older guests. Knowing your audience is definitely something you want to get a grasp on for MARKETING :)
Look at something like Magic Mountain. Fun rides, but an entirely different experience than going to Disney World. Stand in huge lines for a couple hours, then ride a rollercoaster that is usually themed only in name and color (and maybe a lite queue).
It's not as simple as just plunking down a new roller coaster. All Disney rides have stories that are communicated to guests through the ride (and most times in the queue as well), and these stories and rides usually fit cohesively into the world/land they inhabit. Each of these lands themselves also have stories attached to them -- even though many of these stories never see the light of day. For example -- there is an entire back story for Big Thunder Mountain that explains how it came to be and the different elements you see, but few people have ever even heard it. Still, the "story development" and theming make what would be a simple roller coaster a much more immersible and memorable experience.
I think the best bet for your marketing class would be to suggest a new, heavily themed ride in an existing park. This has worked for Disney in the past (Tower of Terror, Expedition Everest). A new ride makes people want to revisit the park it's located in, and it also fleshes out and adds to the park experience.
It was 1987 the last time I visited Disney World. I only remember 2 roller coaster rides, space mountain and I think rock mountain. There's no telling how many roller coasters they've added since then. You might wanna check out Disney World's website first to see if they already have a lot of roller coasters before you use that as your project. Even so, that is a good idea. Maybe someone else who's been there recently will tell you in their reply if Disney World has enough roller coasters already. Would People be more interested in traveling to Disney world if it offered a roller coster theme park?
I have been go to Disney World at least twice a year for the last 18 years and i love going and all but i think if they did make a theme park just for roller coasters i would go a lot more then i go now . I think if you are from the ages of 16 to about 25 Disney isn't that much fun because there really isn't anything for them to do so they get bored . That is my opi
Disney World doesn't want appeal to older audiences its more for everyone, and making a park that has rides for older audiences only wouldn't do anything in the Market for them because less people would go to it due to height restrictions and stuff. Would People be more interested in traveling to Disney world if it offered a roller coster theme park?
I don't believe so. Disney tried to create California Adventure for older people and it kind of back fired on them. That park is always empty. I heard that Disney is revamping California Adventure now to add more characters into all of the rides to get more people and kids to come to that park.
The only way it could create a Roller Coaster Theme park is if it still had Disney magic and lots of characters involved.
Some people might be more into Disney if it had more rollercoasters, but overall, people go to Disney for reasons other than a thrill. Disney provides traditions and experiences you cannot get anywhere else. People like consistency, they like a place where whether they go there tomorrow or 1000 years from now, it will still have the same "magical" feeling to it. While Disney has some "thrill" rides, they would never make a park that is strictly thrill rides. Disney has made it a point that they want family members to be able to ride things together. That's why most of the rides have very low hight restrictions and most rides can hold an entire family at once. They don't want mom/dad and the youngest child to be sitting outside the line while the rest of the family is having fun. That's why they try to limit the rides that would force families to have to split up.
no because the price is ridiculous !
I think Disney World was meant to be a place for everybody. 99% of people will tell you they had a good time at Disney World no matter how old they are. You will never ride anything that is like Rockin Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror, Expedition Everest and Mission Space. A new park would be nice though. Disney World has stuff for everyone, but a lot of people don't really know that.

What rides close down when it rains at Disney World?
So, my family and I are going to Disney World from August 28 to September 5. I am aware that it is hurricane season and that it will probably be raining for most of the time that we're there.
I'd like to know what rides stop operating when there's rain.
If possible I'd also like to know what rides stop operating when there is thunder and lightning.
Please include Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon as well.
Any other tips you may have about Disney World and rain are very much appreciated as well. What rides close down when it rains at Disney World?
first of all, rides still operate in rain. They only close down during lightning/thunderstorms.
and second, just because its hurricane season doesnt mean there will be a storm and it will be raining the whole time. If theres a lot of rain, it usually mean a hurricane is close by. and if there is, the parks would close early.
During lightning/thundersorms, both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach close down. all the rides, pools, etc.. they arent going to risk injuring their guests (in the lightning) just to make a little money.
Magic Kingdom:
all the outdoor rides close down (thunder mountain, splash mountain, astro orbiter, dumbo, etc...) also close down: liberty boat, tom sawyer island, and the swiss family treehouse.
Epcot: they close Epcot during rain. thats about it.
Hollywood Studios: im prety sure they will close tower of terror during a thunderstorm because its pretty high up. they wont do any of the outdoor shows (indiana jones, lights motors action!, fantasmic, etc...)
Animal Kingdom: since a majority of the parks rides are outside and involve the animals, this park would be pretty boring to be at during a thunderstorm. Most things close. I would not recommend being there.
you could always head over to downtown disney during a thunderstorm. they have a movie theater and lots of shops/restaurants, so you could enjoy yourselves and have fun while not worring about a closed park.
and bring your own poncho/raincoat as the Disney ponchos run around $8 or so.
Epcot: Only Test Track closes due to rain.
Disney-MGM Studios: Lights! Motors! Action! and Fantasmic are cancelled during rain.
Magic Kingdom: While only a few rides close for rain, the folowing rides will close because of lightening: Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, Jungle Cruise, Magic Carpets of Aladdin, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Tomorrowland Indy Speedway, Liberty Belle Riverboat, Astro Orbiter and Swiss Family Treehouse.
Disney鈥檚 Animal Kingdom: Disney鈥檚 Animal Kingdom is not recommended for rainy day traveling due to most of the animal habitats being outdoors.
P.S. Just because it is hurricane season doesn't mean it will be raining the whole time. If a hurricane is close enough to Orlando to be producing rain, you probably don't want to stick around... Afternoon showers are common in late summer but it likely won't rain all day, every day. What rides close down when it rains at Disney World?
All of Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon will close down their rides for safety purposes if it starts to thunder and lightening.
MAGIC KINGDOM:
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
Splash Mountain
EPCOT:
Test Track
ANIMAL KINGDOM:
Expedition Everest
Kiliminjaro Safari's (I believe, not 100% sure about that one.)
Primevil Whirl
HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS:
Tower of Terror (Seen it happen before, the building has been hit by lightening before.)
When I went during the rainy season they still kept most of the rides open during a big storm. We rode dumbo in pouring rain! I think all the outdoor rides stop temporarily if the thunder and lightning get too intense. Also the water parks close when lightning and thunder happen, and during the off season they are usually only open select days of the weeks.
Have fun :)What rides close down when it rains at Disney World?
we were there july 2009. all rides stay open unless there is lightning and thunder. the waterparks also stay open during rain. they make everyone get out of the water if it is thundering and lightning. my son and husband were still able to ride the rides at magic kingdom during the rain. trust me, it is nice to be in a rain shower in the middle of summer in orlando. HAVE FUN! ! !

What is the most romantic (hopefully inexpensive) place to stay at Walt Disney World Resort?
I'm looking for a romantic disney resort (hopefully not too expensive) any suggestions?
We're going to EPCOT in November for our One Year anniversary and want to make something special out of it.
Are there any romantic restaurants at EPCOT or at any of the resorts?
What is the most romantic (hopefully inexpensive) place to stay at Walt Disney World Resort?
If you're going to EPCOT, stay in EPCOT. The convenience is so worth it. The resorts there are within walking distance to the park. The Boardwalk and the Yacht and Beach Club are very nice resorts. You can also choose between the Swan or the Dolphin.
These are deluxe resorts, but I have heard the Beach Club does have a few efficiencies. That is worth asking about. As far as the Swan and Dolphin you can get some good online specials every once in a while.
There is, unfortunately, no romantic, inexpensive WDW resort close to Epcot. Of the Disney World resor close to Epcot, the Boardwalk is lovely small, and romantic, but quite expensive. The Yacht and Beach Clubs, because of their size, are not so romantic.
The most romantic resort at WDW that is not a deluxe resort is Port Orleans French Quarter. This is a "moderate" resort. Of the value resorts, the most romantic is All-Star Music. Neither is in walking distance of Epcot, but WDW buses will take you there!
To help you balance cost vs. what you get, see this page on what you get by WDW resort price class: http://yourfirstvisit.net/planning-your-鈥?/a>
Hope this helps and have a wonderful visit! DaveWhat is the most romantic (hopefully inexpensive) place to stay at Walt Disney World Resort?
personally i think that the french restaurant is very romantic in epcot and the coral reef restaurant is as well.
you don't have to stay in a particular hotel to go to eat at one of their restaurants so i suggest eating at the california grill in the contemporary.
the most romantic of the deluxe hotels in my opinion
the contemporary
the grand floridian
the Polynesian
their prices start at $225 per nigt
most romantic of the moderate hotels in my opinion
the port orleans french quarters
the caribbean beach hotel
their prices start at $149 per night.
i don't really think the value hotels are romantic they are more like being a kid again fun. they have arcades and they have kid and adult friendly themes to them.
i like pop century the best of the value resorts.
they start at $82 per night.
There are many good restaurants at Disney. Reservations could be made 180 days in advance, so my top pick might not be available, as it is so popular, especially for romantic dinners. My favorite restaurant for romance in Epcot is LeCellier in Canada followed by San Angel Inn at Mexico. You can see menus at:
http://allears.net/menu/menus.htm#epc
I love the Yacht and Beach Club, but they are expensive like the monorail resorts. I've stayed at the Contemporary and don't find it romantic at all, but the Grand Floridian or Polynesian would be. I also think Animal Kingdom Lodge ($225) or Wilderness Lodge ($225) are good choices, and they cost less than the deluxe resorts ($325+) but more than moderates. Next choice is the moderates like Port Orleans, Caribbean Beach, and Coronado Springs ($149). The value resorts are not romantic in the least, and you'd be better staying off Disney property than staying in one of those. Here's a photo gallery of the resorts: http://allears.net/acc/gallery.htm

What is the most romantic (hopefully inexpensive) place to stay at Walt Disney World Resort?
Absolutely! EPCOT has some of the best food in all of Disney World Property. Coral Reef is a fantastic restaurant if you like seafood. The ambiance cannot be beat either! Meals can be pricey, so choose a dish you both love and split it! Order their seafood bisque or a salad to bulk up the meal. You'll have a romantic dinner for less money.
Another great option in EPCOT is Chefs De France! The restaurant glows at night with candles and nice lighting. The food is scrumptious - again a great place to share a plate to reduce cost. They offer plenty of food.
The Cantina De San Angel, located in Mexico's Pavilion is another wonderful choice for ambiance (a "night" sky by the river) and food! This is the least expensive option of the three I mentioned so feel free to order your own plates at this location and still stick to your budget! Their tacos and margaritas are fantastic!

It's not on disney property but its near disney. It's called the gayloard palms hotel. In november they have their christmas shows, ice skating and great chrismas entertainment. Inside is really nice.
I would suggest The Grand Floridian or The Polynesian, but they are the most expensive Disney World hotels. They offer rooms with a Magic Kingdom view!
the french pavillion. also, you could stay at the swan or the dolphin. but i don't think they're inexpensive.

How do you call radio disney?
I keep on trying to call radio disney, but the line is always busy. Is there a trick or something to calling them at the right time? How do you call radio disney?
No I think it's random.
You just have to be lucky.
One time me and my friend called nonsop from 5pm until 3am and never got through.
Then one time (it was the night of the premire of Camp Rock) me and three of my friends called. We called a ton of times and we got through! Some receptionist picked up and was like "Hey" and talked to us and stuff. Then she was like "Hold on let me put you through to the DJ" and we could hear music from the radio on my phone while we were on hold. Then the DJ Brian picked up and he was asked us if we were watching Camp Rock and stuff. And he was like make sure you listen and you will hear yourselves on air in about 3 minutes. and we did!
Then just a few weeks ago my friend and I called radio disney a bunch of times. We got through! However, this time we didn't get on the radio. Just some lady picked up and was like "Hello" and then she asked us to request a song and it was really awkward.
So I guess it's just like random but it's not impossible to get through.
Also a lot of the time you get the busy signal and when that happens then hang up. Then sometimes it will ring and most of the time it rings for about a minute. Then other times it will ring and transfer you to this automated menu thing where you could request songs. The two times I got through the phone ringed or abut 30 seconds or so then someone picked up.
Best of luck! Hope you get through! How do you call radio disney?
no, I used to always try to call and would always get a busy signal, you just have to keep on trying and trying and trying and eventually you may get an answering machine (I've gotten that a few times) or you may get an actual person like once (I've only gotten one once) but keep on trying

What is the most romantic Disney movie?
I think Beauty and the Beast because of the character development. The other Disney princes seem kind of plastic. What do you think? What is the most romantic Disney movie?
I that's a tuffy..... If your looking for movies that are not the average classic "Cinderella, Snow White, Little Mermaid, Sleeping Beauty"
there's movies such as-
The Lion King
Hunchback of Notre-Dame
Lady and the Tramp
Mulan
Aladdin
Wall-E
and I'm sure many, many more...
If I had to choose one as "most romantic" I'd say Aladdin, because for once the guy wasn't a "prince" and the princess Jasmine loved the man for his character and not his looks, like a lot of the other classic Disney movie princesses do. I hate how characters such as Snow White didn't even know the man they ended up with, it was "love at first sight", in reality, you can be VERY attracted to someone at first sight, but it's not love. Not yet anyway, love takes time. And the Princesses always ended up "Happily Ever After" with the guy they just set eyes on. They escaped death and horrible happenings in different plots then rode off into the sunset with their heroes that they just met.
If my daughter wants to watch them by all means she can and I won't stop her (especially since children's films these days become less and less age appropriate). But truthfully they aren't realistic.
I enjoy Aladdin because the moral of the story is about loving someone no matter what background they come from.
I love Beauty and the Beast as well, but I also like Enchanted where she thinks she is in love with the typical Prince charming but realizes that she fell for the average guy. They showed each other who they really are and how to be that person which is romantic. What is the most romantic Disney movie?
I think The Alice in Wonderland movie is the most romantic disney movie.I have watched this movie 5 times.
well to me its either Cinderella snow white umm the little mermaid but mostly cinderella i thinkWhat is the most romantic Disney movie?
Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Because she saw the person he was behind appereance.

How do I become a disney channel star?
The Disney Channel shows I want to be on are: Wizards Of Waverly Place, Hannah Montana, Sonny With A chance, and more. How do I become a disney channel star?
Dress like a whore, and sing like a bear!! Not much too it...

there are many numbers on television that you can call to audition for a part. I saw an advertisement for hannah montana auditions just this morning.
ask your parents and they can find a number for you (after they approve, ofcourse)
good luck! :DHow do I become a disney channel star?

How long to get from Beauvais Airport to Disney?
Me and my partner are flying into Beauvais and hope to hire a car and drive to Euro disney. Can anyone tell me if this is a long journey and roughly how long it may take? Also are there other ways to get to Disney from this airport? How long to get from Beauvais Airport to Disney?
It will take at least 90 minutes by car. The airport and Disney are 125 km apart. And it requires a good knowledge of local roads or a good map.
Even Paris itself is 86 km from Beauvais. That's one reason why flying on airlines that go to Beauvais is so cheap. How long to get from Beauvais Airport to Disney?
I don't recommend hiring a car, navigating the Paris area road network jetlagged and tired from an eight hours flight is not a good idea.
You have a shuttle service which brings you directly to Disneyland. The cost is 50 Euros per person.

I would recommend you try to get a flight to a different airport.
The saving made by flying Ryan Air can be more than wiped out by the pain of getting to this airport in the middle of nowhere.
Even Easy Jet flies to Charles de Gaule aiport.

How do I get a Disney Scout to come to my school?
I have a musical coming up in march and I really want a Disney Channel scout to come to my school, the funny thing is I was just cast as a character this week even though we've been rehearsing since December. But I have a decent amount of lines, and a lot of solos/trios so...Any help...please?How do I get a Disney Scout to come to my school?
Disney Channel as an entity, does not scout at schools. There just isn't any need to with so many young professional actors already in the Hollywood system. Those actors go through the regular process of casting via the producers of individual shows on Disney Channel engaging casting directors who in turn, engage agencies for submissions for actors.

Any resort recommendations or ideas in the Southeast region besides Disney?
Looking for a resort that we can relax at for a week the summer. We have done Disney before so that's out, but I am looking for somewhere similar to Disney. It doesn't have to be as big, but family and budget friendly is a definite plus. Yes, Disney costs a small fortune, but all of the resorts that I have looked into cost much more. Oh, I don't have small children so nothing too young a water park or something along those lines would be right up their alley. Thanks!Any resort recommendations or ideas in the Southeast region besides Disney?

What is a good unique Disney channel character to dress up as?
I have to dress up as a Disney chanenel character for school who should I be besides Hannah montana? What is a good unique Disney channel character to dress up as?
Do you want live action or animated?
what about Kim Possible?
lol Hannah Montana? Things from the Nightmare Before Christmas are ALWAYS cool and don't forget all the princesses. Robin Hood/Maid Maryann would be super cute too. Think of your favorite movies...
Or you could be silly and be someone like Nemo or Buzz, or Woody. They are Pixar characters and it might get you a good laugh ;)What is a good unique Disney channel character to dress up as?
Raven, from That's So Raven
Maybe Pocahontas, Mulan, the cow girl from Toy Story, Sleeping Beauty (Shouldn't be that hard just walk around in a dress with a tiara and a pillow) or tinkerbell,
but if you mean like show wise maybe Hillary Duff from way back in Lizzy McGuire or whatever it was spelled like .What is a good unique Disney channel character to dress up as?
Everyone here seems to be telling you DISNEY CHARACTERS, not DISNEY CHANEL CHARACTERS. Well if you wanted to dress up as a DISNEY CHANEL character try Emily Osments character. Not Lily, Lola. The funky clothes and the great wigs would make a great costume.
max or agnus from zack and cody....um lemme think...um...or Lola from hannah montana just get a purple wig!...srri cant think of anymore:(
hope this helps:)

Disney does not give anything away for free. They are a money hungry company that will bleed you dry.
Better to go with something from Sesame Street. They at least are non profit and put money back into programs for kids education.
Besides Elmo is a lot cuter than Mickey.
You can find a bunch here...

What can we do in Disney to shake things up a bit from last year?
We've been to disney for the past 3 years. What can we do this year to shake things up a bit? We've done the parks, mini golf, boating, bike riding...
Maybe a hidden mickey quest or something?
What can we do thats "off the beaten path"?
It will be one adult, a seventeen year old, and a twelve year old in mid January. What can we do in Disney to shake things up a bit from last year?
My husband and I are the same way - we like to shake things up on each Disney trip. Here's some of our ideas that have been really fun:
1. Hidden Mickey Hunt: You can either choose a park, multiple hunts, or a resort hunt which is really fun too. The Hidden Mickey book is very helpful! You can get it on Amazon - make sure you get Edition 3 as it is the newest. Take photos of each hidden mickey you find, or check them off in the book. Bring a pencil to add your own that you find.
2. Do some character dinings or themed restaurants that you have never done. My favorites: Crystal Palace Winnie the Pooh brunch, Cinderella's Royal Table Princess Breakfast in the castle, Garden Grille rotating restaurant in Epcot character dinner or lunch, Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Ohana at the Polynesian Lilo %26amp; Stitch Breakfast. You'll need reservations pretty far in advance for these, but they're so much fun!
3. Eat %26amp; drink around the world in Epcot. We made a little sheet that has each country, where we could write it what we ate or drank. We also put on a hat in each country %26amp; took a picture so we could scrapbook our "trip around the world". Very fun!
4. Do some lesser known Disney magical things. We try to find new ones for each trip. Some of my personal favorites:
Paintbrush hunting on Tom Sawyers Island. If you aren't familiar w/it - every morning there are a number of paintbrushes hidden on the island. If you find one %26amp; bring it to the raft captain, you will get a special prize. You'll need to be on one of the first rafts in the morning to have a shot.
Waking up Tinkerbell. The first person every morning in Tinkerbell's Treasures at the Magic Kingdom gets to wake up Tink in a special ceremony. Go immediately there at rope drop.
Sword in the Stone: In front of Cinderella's carousel there is the sword in the stone. A few times a day, it can be actually pulled out. It's rare, but you get a special magic moments certificate if you do it.
Ride Cinderella's horse: On Cinderella's carousel, there is one horse that belongs to Cinderella. It's the ONLY one with a gold ribbon on the tail. It just feels magical to ride it =)
There's many things just like this that help make any trip unique! You can find plenty on your own, or ask any cast member for their favorite secret. You'll find they love to share these things with guests! Have fun! What can we do in Disney to shake things up a bit from last year?
personally i don't see a need to "shake things up" i've been to disney world 44 times and i've never needed to find something to do.
i suppose you could go to the cirque de soleil show in downtown disney.
or you could do a tour at one of the parks there are a host of them.
you can find out about all the tours and the cirque show on disneys website.

Did you know there are free movie nights where you can make smores (you have to buy that stuff) at the Fort Wilderness camp grounds?
I'm all about the Hidden Mickey's, and purchasing the book might be a good idea! Also, here are some other great things to look for (I don't know if they are in the book, or even still in the parks, but these are a LOT things I've learned about doing my research):
http://agiftforportnoy.blogspot.com/2008鈥?/a>
Also make a game of the tree of life! Split up and write down as many animals as you can find! Cross off any of the same animals, then tally up! Who ever has the most wins (either a prize from a shop or they get to pick the next ride)!

What would be a good topic for a research paper on anything Disney?
I need to write a 10 page research paper (and annotated bibliography) for my class that is studying anything and everything Disney. What would be a good topic for a research paper on anything Disney?
I believe that most people who write something about the Disney company end up taking the easy route by writing about Walt Disney, the founder of the company. But if you really want a challenge and make an impression with your teacher, do a research project about the major conflict between Michael Eisner, former Chief Executive Officer of the Disney Company, and Roy Disney, a former Disney Executive and nephew of the company founder Walt Disney. Roy Disney wanted to get Michael Eisner fired and came close to accomplishing that. This story would make a great research project and I would bet receive a high grade from your teacher. What would be a good topic for a research paper on anything Disney?
An examination of the work of animator,= Walt Disney and its impact on modern culture. This paper analyzes the genius work of Walt Disney. It includes a synopsis of his life and times, a survey of the ideas of artistic work recognized as reflecting genius, and an appraisal of their impact on culture.
Walter Elias Disney was a genius of the 20th century for a number of compelling reasons. Disney's name is still synonymous with magic kingdoms, excellent and novel animation, and a child's joy. He has been recognized as a genius for years, for a variety of reasons. His official biography at the Disney Web site states, "David Low, the late British political cartoonist, called Disney 'the most significant figure in graphic arts since Leonardo'" (Editors, 2003). Walt Disney's name lives on in the minds of children of all ages everywhere, and his theme parks still draw millions of people every year. His company's films still gross billions every year, and the attention to detail in the animated films all reach back to Disney's genius and attention to detail. Disney was not a perfect man, but his life influenced millions of people, and his genius is not debatable, it is simply the story of a man who believed in what he did, and made a tremendous success with his abilities."What would be a good topic for a research paper on anything Disney?
Write about the man. Walt Disney. THat would be easiest you could write a little bit about all of the movies. Good Luck!

What to do for a disney themed day at preschool?
We are having a disney themed preschool day so i need ideas for a craft, or a game, or a math activvity, or science activity
thanks! What to do for a disney themed day at preschool?
For a craft you can have them make their own mickey mouse ears. Kind of like a hat so they can wear them when finished. Or a princess crown can also be a option. This way they can dress up like disney characters of their own doing.
Math game you can probably have them add like one mickey mouse, plus another mickey mouse equals how many?
That type of deal. Hope it helps you
i think you could do all different activities like say with the incredible, you have dash who is really speedy so you could set up some outdoor pe running activies for that, end the day with a film, read one of the favourites such as the lion king or alice in wonderland and get them to answer questions and maybe act out parts of the book to the class. maths activies maybe you could do work sheets with disney characters such as problem solving questions and you can have the characters have the questions.
hope this helped :)What to do for a disney themed day at preschool?
I would make a mickey mouse ears headband and teach them MIC.....KEY...... MOUSE Mickey Mouse! Or the whole mickey mouse club song like when I was little. (I am 25 now, and I watched this when I was 3).

How do you find a disney character?
I have gone to different disney parks since and can't ever seem to find Snow White. My parents spoiled my sister and I going when we are younger and I never have gotten a picture with my favorite princess. How do you find them the one you want and do I have to go to a certain park or will any do?
I plan on going this year and really would like a picture for the photo album. How do you find a disney character?
There are a ton of sites out there but I question how reliable they are. Also you didn't mention if you are going to DisneyWorld or DisneyLand. The best may be to ask Disney directly as they are generally helpful with info they know (character greets may be somewhat random though!). I did find Snow White as a "regular" at Epcot and the Magic Kingdom but that doesn't mean she appears every day at a particular site. You can also check out the character breakfasts to see if she might be at one. Good luck!
in magic kingdom you can usually find her in mickey's toontown fair at the toontown hall of fame. there is a certain line and room for the princesses. they never tell you what princesses are in the room prior to you entering. the room always has 3 princesses.
also she is usually at cinderella's royal table to interact with guests at lunch time.
and at epcot she is usually at the princess storybook dining restaurant in the world showcase.
**note that both of the above restaurants are table services and these 2 table service restaurants in particular require reservations.
and to find out for sure where she will be throughout the day you can walk up to any cast member working in a store and they can call up to find out the schedule. (not as magical but hey it works) i did it last time i went cuz i wanted a pic of belle in her ballgown so they told me what time she would be at toontown hall of fame so i didn't waste my time standing in line just to see if she was in there and then being disappointed if she wasn't there. How do you find a disney character?
Snow White is also my favorite princess of them all. You will find her in Toontown at Magic Kingdom. It's an easy train ride to the rear of the park. You'll find them in an indoor air conditioned building. To find out which Princesses are appearing ask at Toontown Hall of Fame.
Fair warning, though, the lines are long (but again you have the comfort of it being indoors) as they do take a little while to interact with each guest and make them feel special while signing autographs and posing for pictures. That part is nice. It's worth the time and long lines for those who find it important enough to get a photo with them.
I'd like to mention that the Disney photographers are ready with their cameras. I can attest to the fact they do take great photos in this setting. Be sure to also give them your camera as they're gracious enough to snap pictures with yours.
You will probably find Snow White in Fantasyland in Disneyland or near that beautiful castle. Try asking Guest Services. There is also a brochure/ character meeting scedule near the park's entrance. Believe me, she is there. Also, if you are staying at a hotel, be sure to ask the concierge or another employee. If not, consult an employee or someone where you check in to the park.
Hope this helps and say hi to Snow White from me!
:D CountOnMe :DHow do you find a disney character?
Grab a paper on the way in the park and it states character meeting. Try toon town for specific characters or at Disneyland just walk towards the right upon entering the right tunnel. Usually they come out there. GRAB THE PROGRAM.
Check with visitor services. They may be able to tell you where the various characters will be and at what time. Also, they tend to hang out near the rides they're associated with, so you might see her near the castle.
Sometimes there are special shows going on, and the characters aren't wandering the park. Snow White would most likely be in the Magic Kingdom.
In the magic kingdom they have a show with snow white....I watched it, So maybe you can definitely check for princess show times
well I'm glad I'm not you, I'd hate to have the opportunity to go to Disney world and not meet my favorite Disney princess, you are really unfortunate and have a deprived childhood, I'm calling DSS right now to get you out of that awful home
You just have to kinds walk around magic kingdom. Like around cinderella's castle is usually where she is.
as for the rest of them, they should be around the family section? like not around the big rides and stuff. thats where i always see them
Go to the get toghethers or sit in the center of the park for about an hour with some ice cream and see if you can find them.
ask around, and go to the character place in epcot
go to customer service and tell them you would like to take a pic with snow white
i like bugs bunny hes my fav

Why is Disney trying to convert Muslims kids subliminally?
In Disney's Aladdin, in the most memorable song from the movie Jasmine says...
I'm like a shoorting star, I've come so far
I can't back to where to where used to be
Every turn a surprise and every moment red letter
The term "red letter" comes from the Medieval Christian world which meant a day that was "red letter" held significance such as a feast day or a day of obligation or something to that matter.
Why is Disney trying to make kids use Christian phrases when the children obviously watching Aladdin due to the intrest in the cultural overtones of Islam within the movie? Why is Disney trying to convert Muslims kids subliminally?
I've always liked the part where the genie sings:
Now try your best to stay calm
Brush up your Sunday salaam
Now every Muslim who watches Aladdin will feel the subliminal need to worship on Sunday...
lol.
The story of Aladdin is based on the tales of One Thousand and One Nights, which was Persian. It had also Indian elements, Egyptian, etc.
It is not only Islamic.
One Thousand and One Nights (Persian: ???? ? ?? ?? Hezār-o yek ?ab), is a collection of folk tales and other stories. The original concept is most likely derived from a pre-Islamic Persian prototype that probably relied partly on Indian elements[1], but the work as we have it was collected over many centuries by various authors, translators and scholars across the Middle East and North Africa.
The tales themselves trace their roots back to ancient and medieval Arabic, Persian, Indian, Egyptian and Mesopotamian folk-lore and literature.
In particular, many tales were originally folk stories from the Caliphate era while others, especially the frame story, are most probably drawn from the Sassanid Persia's Pahlavi Persian work Hazār Afsān (Persian: ???? ?????, lit. Thousand Tales).
Though the oldest Arabic manuscript dates from the 14th century, scholarship generally dates the collection's genesis to around the 9th century.
Actually the term 'red letter' is clearly a reference to the form of communication favoured by inner-party members of the Soviet Union.
Disney is Communism. Why is Disney trying to convert Muslims kids subliminally?
Simply don't watch it or let your children watch it. Conspiracy theories are crazy.
I totally agree Cindy.
You are trying to originate one more controversy.
Try to reduce it.
Best of LUCK
I doubt it was an attempt to subdue them. Knowing Disney, it is just another way to sell something.
ROTFL like anyone other than yourself and maybe some medevil students even noticed this!!

How old do you need to be to book a vacation with disney world?
Do you need to be 21 to book with disney? How old do you need to be to book a vacation with disney world?
you don't really need to be 21, they only suggest it.
Really you can be any age as long as you have a credit card, but the youngest really should be 18 years.
But as long as you have a credit card you can book at any age on the phone and online (just make sure if your under 18 to ask an adult)
Hope that helps. ^_^How old do you need to be to book a vacation with disney world?
No, I was able to go on a trip with a few of my friends when I was in college (older than 18 and younger than 21), and they didn't give us any problems. Disney is very accommodating.jet ski chrome download

In the new Disney DVDs being produced there is a piece of music that is played over clips of Disney movies. Can someone tell me what this piece of music is? Thanks. What music is used at the introduction of Disney DVDs?
I recall my mom saying it was from "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves" with Kevin Costner. It's not a Disney movie (well, ain't that obvious?) but Disney seems to like "borrowing" music and whatnot from other media.
If it isn't that, well, I don't know.

My husband and I are looking for a fun vacation just for the two of us and want to live it up. We'd like to stay at a Disney resort but are having a hard time spending the big money. Any suggestions on how to save a buck?Does anyone know how to get a good deal on a Luxury Disney vacation?
There are several ways you can save money. For instance, you should wait to go during the value season, which is in the fall (between Sept and Dec) and early winter (Jan-Feb) because the resort rates are the lowest at that time. You should also look into buying packages that include tickets and the meal plan because you can end up saving quite a bit of money and also having a vacation experience with variety in the places you see and foods you eat. Plus, using the Magical Express to get from the airport to Disney property will help you save money by not having to rent a car.
You may want to consider staying at one of the Moderate Disney resorts. They are less expensive than the Deluxe resorts, but they still offer many of the same amenities and benefits that the Deluxe resorts offer.
Good Luck!
You can enjoy a romantic Disney get-a-way for two easily! Disney splits their resorts up into 3 sections: Delux, Moderate, and Value/Economy. I recommend that you two stay at one of Disney's Moderately priced resorts. I recommend Disney's Caribbean Beach or Disney's Port Orlean's Riverside Resorts. There are many benefits to staying on Disney property, including free transportation (even from the airport!), free package delivery to your hotel (so if you buy something at one of the parks or at Downtown Disney, you don't have to carry it all day), and Extra Magic Hours (this is where one theme park of the 4 opens an hour early specifically for Disney Resort Guests)!
However, you can save a bit of money by staying off Disney property, but nearby! I recommend the Sheraton Safari Hotel %26amp; Suites in Lake Buena Vista... located just minutes from Downtown Disney and Disney World! It is located at: 12205 S Apopka Vineland Road
Orlando, Florida 32836 路 United States
Phone (407) 239-0444 路 Fax (407) 239-1778
It is a beautiful hotel and they have pretty competetive rates.
Try to get a room with a small kitchenette. This way, you can cook a few meals and not spend so much on food. You'd be suprised how quickly your money goes toward your meals. But you must enjoy at least one nice dinner or dinner show. I recommend the Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show at Disney's Polynesian Resort or dine at Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.
Pack water bottles in your bags when you visit parks and re-fill them throughout the day. Also purchase rain ponchos, batteries, and film prior to going to Florida. They sell these items in the parks, but for an outrageous price. Get them at Target or Walmart and have them with you when you go play.
Purchase your park tickets from AAA (if you are a member) or at your local Disney Store to receive a discount.

Save yourself alot of money and go on a Disney cruise, you'll be pampered , go to nice islands, food included, entertainment, the cruise can also sell you a hotel/land package in orlando with tickets. You'll spend more on land at a hotel for a week than you will on a week cruise.

Try http://Luxe.worldventures.com They search all the other main sites like Orbitz, Expedia, Travelocity, hotel and airline sites and offer you the lowest price. You鈥檒l save even more when you book it as a package like air and hotel together. Plus they鈥檙e the only online site that offers LIVE chat where you can make your specific requests such as non-smoking, king-size or double beds, etc.

My family has saved money by "buying" timeshare points from someone who is not able to go, and would otherwise lose them. This way, for just a little more than the value resorts, we can go to a DVC property -- which are much nicer and give you all the benefits of staying at a resort. Doing it this way, you can stay for about $100/night.
Just go all out. Find a way to spend the money. My boyfriend and I are only 19, we definitely don't have much money. We took out a collateral loan to pay for our Walt Disney World vacation. We went for 11 days, stayed at the nicest Resort, Concierge, and we booked the most expensive package, the Platinum Package. It cost us $9,274.82 Everything was included in the package, though, except we booked flights seperately because we wanted to fly with JetBlue and it was cheaper to book the flights through them. We had the most amazing time of our lives and are not regretting it in the slightest! We're already planning our next vacation there.
Good luck, I'm sure you can find a way to go!
You can stay at a moderate resort and still visit the deluxe resorts for dinner and shopping! that's what we do because we don't spend a ton of time in the hotel... check out the link below to see pictures and hotel details!

How do i become a Disney or Nick star?
I wanna be an actress for disney or nick how do i become one? I can sing, act and more. i have been singing since i was little. and i have been in plays. do i need an agent? How do i become a Disney or Nick star?
Well the more experience you have, the better. and one of the only ways to get Disney Channel auditions is through auditions. But what you can also do is send your resume/headshot to casting directors for shows on those channels. An actor who also works for Disney has a blog website for aspiring actors to do not have agents. It has all the information you need if you would like to submit for acting roles for Disney Channel, as well as information on how your resume should look, and the addresses to send them to for certain Disney Channel movies/tv shows you would like to audition for. Here is the link:

Where is the cheapest site that I can get a trip to Disney World?
I've checked out Disney's website, but there has to be some where that sells discounted park tickets.Where is the cheapest site that I can get a trip to Disney World?
the only way you will get them "cheap" is if you do a timeshare. (i don't recommend it) they will try to pressure you into buying one, sometimes in the fine print it will say you must buy one or you don't get the free tickets, or it will take up so much of your vacation time (days) that you won't be able to go to the parks.
DON'T try ebay cuz most tickets will not be legit.
you can buy them from AAA but that only saves a few bucks.
the best place it so get them directly from disney.
from my experience its better to just cough up the dough for the real thing then possibly get cheated.
Nope your best bet is Disney's website because then you run the risk of being scammed and get fake tickets. For the money you save its not worth it.Where is the cheapest site that I can get a trip to Disney World?
AAA Auto club, find someone with a membership!
I went on expedia.com last year for a trip to florida. I paid $600 total for 7 nights at Seralago Hotel which was a few miles from disney. The package also included tickets to SeaWorld and Disney for 2 adults and 2 children. I thought it was a fantastic deal.Where is the cheapest site that I can get a trip to Disney World?
why don't you just go to your nearest disney store and purchase there i went there for christmas it was awesome lol i would get the park hopper!=]
I am currently planning a trip to WDW and I was wondering the same thing. After doing some research I decided to try 2 different places...
The first one I tried was www.mousefantravel.com it is endorsed by Lou Mongello who has written two WDW Trivia books and has a very well respected Podcast and website.
The second place I tried was AAA. The price there was better and I recommend that you use this if you have a membership. The discount is they give you really makes the difference and the agents are very informative.
Hope this helps.
There is no such things at cheap disney tickets unless you go to a timeshare tour and I wouldnt want to waste my holiday time doing that. You can save a few dollars on tickets from some online sites but not much.
If you are interested in a villa check;
www.orlandovillas-florida.com.
Anywhere that is selling Disney's Magic your way buy 4 get 3 free deal. I bought mine the other day directly from the Walt Disney Travel Company. http://bookwdw.reservations.disney.go.co鈥?/a> Here is the web site.map of united states with cities bubble pop

Going on a trip to Disney World in 2 weeks. What should we make certain to pack for the baby?
My inlaws invited my husband and I and our 7 month old baby to Disney world. The trip has been planned for a while, and I'm a nervous wreck traveling air faire with an infant! What should we expect? What should we pack? I've never traveled with a baby before, and am worried it will throw off his schedule completely. Thanks for ANY insight that will make this trip easier.Going on a trip to Disney World in 2 weeks. What should we make certain to pack for the baby?
Make sure you bring diapers. Disney is really good with babies. Like:
They have special baby care centers in all the parks at no extra charge. They are next to Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom, the Future World Odyessy Center at EPCOT, inside the guest services at Hollywood Studios, and behind the Creature Comforts store in Discovery Island at Animal Kingdom. These areas are full of other moms and babies where you can change and feed in a nice place to be.
You'll want to either bring a stroller or rent one. They are like $10-15 per day.
Go after dark, during the coolest time, like after 5 pm. Pack raingear because the weather is sooo unpredictable.
If you are staying at a Disney owned resort, you can hire a babysitter for an extra charge. The babysitting is even in your room. Also, do the "baby swap." Tell the Cast Member at the front of the line and they will give you a pass. One parent rides the ride while the other takes care of the baby. Then you swap parents and the other rides the ride without having to wait in line again.
I would also suggest not meeting characters. They will sometimes scare the baby.
Have fun! Disney will take care of all your needs with your baby, they have thought of every thing!

Where can I see the disney fireworks from outside the park?
We live in OC and I want my daughter to see the fireworks at Disney. We're not in a financial position right now to go into the park. Does anybody have a suggestion of where I might be able to take her one evening to watch the show? I see a lot of people say hotels, but we won't be staying at a hotel.Where can I see the disney fireworks from outside the park?
Well, you have to be on property to spot them.
Yes, people say the hotels. They are right. You don't have to stay in them.
Illuminations at Epcot can be seen from the Dolphin and the Swan hotels. Even though it is not a good view and no background music.
But if you're aiming for the Magic Kingdom, I would say the best view is from the Grand Floridian hotel if you'r enot going inside the park.
But in order not to attract attention, I suggest that you would pay.
I'm talking about the California Grill. It is a sit down restaraunt in the hotel upstairs. Excellent view for a meal.Where can I see the disney fireworks from outside the park?
I like to park in the Lion King parking lot (there is usually no one there, so you can park for free) and then go to stand right next to the entrance to Disneyland. You can even hear the music! Even if you are not able to get that close, the first time I saw the fireworks, it was from the free way, and even that was sspectacular If you can spare $12, It is a great view from the top of the Micky and friends parking sstructure You could spend the evening in downtown disney (free), return to your car for the fireworks for the evening and head home. what a great day!Where can I see the disney fireworks from outside the park?
You can actually see them right outside the park-
by the gates, in the courtyard area that has CA Adventure on one side and Disneyland on the other. A lot of people watch from out there, and it's free..a pretty good view.
You might have to pay for parking, but it's cheaper than the admission.
Fireworks normally start at 9 o'clock.
Anywhere on Ball Road between Harbor Blvd. and West St. (or what used to be West St, now Disney Drive) should be good.
I have a friend who grew up down at the other end of Harbor Blvd near McFadden, and he could see them from way down there as a kid, so you don't need to be that close.

Best way to get to Universal Studios from Disney World?
My husband and I are planning a trip to Disney World this coming January. We will be flying to Orlando, then using the Disney transportation since we will be staying at a resort. Both of us are interested in spending a day at Universal Studios and are wondering what options we have to take us between the two? Thank you for any help or advice you can give!Best way to get to Universal Studios from Disney World?
I would either rent a car for the day or take a taxi. Shuttles are hard because you can't be sure of the timing and you could end up getting there very late. Also, shuttles usually pick up people from multiple resorts, so you could be on the bus a long time!Best way to get to Universal Studios from Disney World?
Unfortunately, your only options are taxicab, towncar or shuttle. Taxicab is probably the cheapest due to the number in your party. I would suggest that you call 407-422-2222 for taxicab rates or 407-423-5566 for shuttle prices. These numbers connect you to Mears Transporation Group, which is the only authorized Disney transportation company. Although many other taxicabs "cruise" the Disney property, the majority of drivers for these other companies are not reliable or trustworthy. Wish I could provide better news.
there is now free transportation provided from Disney resorts to Universal Studios? This is NOT true. Disney provides transporation to Disney attractions ONLY.
Universal has partnered with Wet 'N' Wild, Sea World and Busch Gardens...NOT Disney. Disney will neither provide information concerning attractions outside Disney, nor will they provide any free transportation to those attractions. Disney will not even allow tour group operators to sell or promote non-Disney attractions while on Disney property. Please do NOT come to Disney World expecting free transportation to Universal...you will only be deeply disappointed.
PLEASE BE SURE TO VISIT THIS LINK, which explains the partnership:
http://www.allbusiness.com/company-activ鈥?/a>
Public transportation via Lynx busses is available; however, although cheaper than your other options, it is quite confusing and time-consuming.
The route 50 Lynx bus goes from Disney Ticket Center straight to Sea World parking lot. Getting to Universal takes more time. Transferrig between 2 buses (50 %26amp; 21) or 3 (50, 42, 37). The 21 %26amp; 37 go to the Universal parking garage. There are trollys available from Sea World up International Drive towards Universal; however, the walk from the Trolley is long and lonely on a busy street. The Trolley is smaller and can get VERY crowded. Lots of "shopping tourists" in groups of 5-10 with lots of goodie bags. Many "park-goers" take the bus, you won't be alone. But it can take almost 2 hours to Universal.
Again, please do NOT come to Disney World expecting free transportation to Universal

What do you think of a restaurant in Disney banning kids?
Is it good for business or anti-family?
I hate when parents cannot control their child during dinner, a movie, or a plane ride! It happens too often. I think it's good business for Disney to realize that not all adults love every little darling.
I don't really see a downside for Disney or the people who want to enjoy their overpriced meal.
What are your thoughts? What do you think of a restaurant in Disney banning kids?
I have been to Disney many, many times. Mainly as an adult without children but also a child.
While it is hard for me to imagine Disney would ever actually take an official "no children" stance for any of their restaurants (especially within any of the parks), being that the vast majority of guest are there with children, there are certainly many high-end restaurants where "no children" is very heavy implied. With a little research it is rather easy to find a dining experience outside of the parks, but on Disney property, that would be free of cranky toddlers.
As for the comment about children acting up and not knowing how that family lives or if the children are ever disciplined, I wanted to say that I thought the same way before I had any children of my own, but quite frankly, just like adult, sometimes kids are just in bad moods. No matter how fantastic a parent you are and how well your children normally behave, make sure to not pat yourself on the back too soon. It is only a matter of time for your darling little one decides to humiliate you in front of the world.
I think it is quite reasonable to ban kids in most of the upscale restaurants. They are already banned in Vickie and Al's, thank goodness. Whether it remain as profitable is another question. I suppose many families are "forced" to eat in the more expensive restaurants when the others are full. If kids were banned at the only available restaurants, where would the family go? Either Off Disney Property (shudder!) or to a food court. While a table may go empty at the upscale restaurant. What do you think of a restaurant in Disney banning kids?
I think that it would make Disney look bad considering that it is such a family oriented vacation spot. I do however get where you're coming from. I think another way to go with this would be to designate a section of a restaurant to be "adults only." I think a lot of families would be mad/complain if they were to make a whole restaurant that does not allow children, especially if those parents want to try it out, but are with their kids the entire trip.
I am sure there are well over 50 restaurants in the Magic Kingdom and if they want a kid free one I do not see any problem with that. If they are doing that there must be a demand for one or people have suggested it. The customers will tell you whether it is a good idea or not by how much business the restaurant gets.
I know if I was to go on a romantic dinner with my significant other and I was surrounded by screaming kids I would not be happy about it...if I had the option to go to a kid free pllace I would take advantage of it.
I have stayed at kid free resorts when traveling and always thought it was nice. Not that I do not love kids but sometimes it is nice to get away. What do you think of a restaurant in Disney banning kids?
I agree with you. Disney attracts all sorts of people, not just families with kids. And some of those people really don't want to be bothered with annoying brats while they are on vacation. I feel that no one should have a problem with Disney doing this because there are tons of other family oriented restaurants inside of Disney for those with kids to pick from.
Well, if it's only one restaurant, then sure, why not?? I understand adults who would like a nice quiet setting. However, it wouldn't appeal to the majority of Disney visitors since most visiting have kids. But this is definitely a possibility that I would take under consideration.
I think it could go either way. When parents can't control their kids it's annoying but think of it like this. Do u actually know how that family live. Maybe they are Ppl who need some help or maybe their is no punishment, you never know. I can also c y they said no to kids cuz of the screaming and all but maybe it's a restraint in Disney for a parents get away. I hope tht answers it 4 ya!:)
Having just been there a year ago (9 day trip) I found that the more "upsacle" restaurants later at night were pretty devoid of other folks "lil darlings". That being said I would think that Disney could potentially do better in offering more adult only venues. The "party Island" (cant think of the name.Pleasure Island ??) in Downtown Disney is also a place to consider.
Being a 'family oriented' resort, that would be really hard to do. I agree, though it would be nice to be able to enjoy a nice quiet 'adult' dinner, while there... so I would suggest a cutoff time for kids to dine in certain more upscale places, say maybe 8 p.m. - After that it's adults only!
I have a little one and at times he can be a bit fiesty. I would rather not receive the "mean" looks from those who don't understand what is is like to have children - so let them eat in their own place in Disney. They don't have to like my kids - I have no problem with that.
Considering Disney is aimed at kids, it's kind of a dumb idea. But I know some adults go to Disney without kids, so I can't argue that that'd be nice for them. Controversial, definitely, but I think we can all agree Disney's doing pretty well either way.
Wish more restaurants would follow suit. We don't have children for a reason but that doesn't mean we don't like theme parks and such. Before our bars and restaurants went smoke-free they'd ask which section and we would always say "non-children".
NO ONE WILL GO THERE!!! ONLY FAMILIES GOOOO TO DISNEY!
I only go on "Gay Days".
