What rides or attractions can a 15 month old do at Disneyworld or other Disney Parks?

We are taking my 15 month old to Disneyworld and other Disney area parks. What can she be involved in besides just walking around? Are there rides she can go on with us? If so, which rides and what are they like or what do they do?What rides or attractions can a 15 month old do at Disneyworld or other Disney Parks?
Your best bet will be to go to the Magic Kingdom. That will offer the biggest selection in terms of rides for little ones. Focus on the rides in Fantasyland and ToonTown... they are the most kid friendly. You can also do most of them in Tomorrowland. A great one to sit and take a load off is the Tomorrowland Transit Authority which is like an open air version of the monorail. You will just get a tour of Tomorrowland, the inside of Space Mountain and around a few other rides. Carousel of Progress is another ride in Tomorrowland that you can all do. You just sit and watch the progression of technology.

The great thing about Disney World is that they have a rider swap program. That will let you ride while your husband stays with the little one. Once you are done you will switch places and stay with the little one and he can ride. The second rider will be able to skip the line, too.

I would bypass Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom there are hardly any rides at either of those parks that your little one will be able to do... once again though, you can use the rider swap. Epcot has some tamer rides for you all to ride as a family, like Spaceship Earth, Living with the Land, Turtle Talk with Crush and all of the World Showcase.

You can head over to Fort Wilderness campground... they have a petting zoo and pony rides that you can do with your little one. There are also carriage rides you can all go on one evening.

If you have any other questions feel free to e-mail.
She could definitely go on Dumbo and Aladdin, which you go on with her, and you slowly fly around in an elephant or in a carpet-like thing. She could go on Snow White and Peter Pan, which you go on with her. On those, you get into carts, or a ship and you go on a track through the story-themed ride. She could also go on Small World, where you just ride on a boat slowly through the worlds... All of those rides are in Fantasy Land. There are also other rides there that are kind of new, so I have never been on them because by the time they were built, I was too old to ride them without any kids.. lol. There is also a Merry go Round, and Toon Town is kid friendly. There are kid rides at the animal park too, and at Epicot. Hope this helps... have fun. What rides or attractions can a 15 month old do at Disneyworld or other Disney Parks?
If this does not help, check out our group http://groups.yahoo.com/group/disneyworl鈥?/a> There are some rides that she could ride, and the ones that are not outside are in the dark, so just make sure to point out the fun stuff so she does not get scared. There are also some special things that small ones can do while waiting for the bigger kids to ride the big rides. For example, if some of you are riding Splash Mountain or Big Thunder Mountain at Magic Kingdom, the others can take advantage of the toddler-size playground located near the entrance to Splash Mountain, hop on the train at the nearby station and ride the complete loop around the park, or go see the Country Bear Jamboree. Is your group riding Space Mountain or Buzz Lightyear? Then ride the Tomorrowland Transit Authority with your toddler. It goes through both of these rides so you can play a game to see if you can find the rest of your group.

Do you want to explore the World Showcase at Epcot but you're scared your little one won't sit still? At the first country, locate the Kidcot Fun Stop - there's one in each country. One parent can stay with your toddler while she does the art project and makes her mask, while the other parent explores. Then you can swap. If you explore all of "the world" and your child gets stamps from all the Kidcot Fun Stops, she will get a free poster at the last stop. My girls loved doing the Kidcot Fun Stops. It really kept their interest.

Also in Epcot, are you doing Mission Space or Test Track? If so, there's a small playground in the Mission Space building and, to make it even better, it's air conditioned. Go through the regular queue and pre-show, and ask a cast member to show you the way. Are your older kids spending lots of time in Innoventions? There are a few computer games for smaller kids near the Toontown game.

Disney-MGM Studios is a little trickier. There's nothing for little ones to do near Rock 'n' Roller Coaster or Tower of Terror but wait outside in the sun. I suggest going back down Sunset Boulevard to the open air Sunset Ranch Market and buying a snack and waiting for the rest of the group there at a table in the shade. If you think the Studios Backlot Tour is too intense for your little one, you can wait at the very convenient Honey I Shrunk the Kids Playground. When it comes to Star Tours, baby swap allows you to go all the way up to the ride and wait on a bench outside the entrance. While your child will have to wait, it will give you a nice break in the air conditioning.

Disney's Animal Kingdom is very toddler friendly. If your group wants to ride Primeval Whirl, the baby swap occurs at the ride platform at the loading gates. It has benches and is in the shade. If part of your group is riding Dinosaur or It's Tough to Be a Bug and you decide it's too much for your little one, your toddler will love the convenient Boneyard playground. It has toddler-sized slides in addition to the big climbing areas, and a huge, shaded sand box where you can dig up fossils.

I think you should wait to take your child to Disneyworld until he/she is a little older. The rides available to a toddler are minimal and all of them you'd have to go on as well.

I'd suggest leaving little one behind for this trip and enjoying some free time for your self. When your child is older and can go on more rides with you or by them self then they can go.

Just my opinion. What rides or attractions can a 15 month old do at Disneyworld or other Disney Parks?
I am completely obsessed with Disney and have visited many of the parks. I will be visiting Disneyland resort paris soon and it will be our first trip with our daughter who will be 17mths.

I do not agree that they wont enjoy it and wont remember it. In doing my research for visiting with children everybody has said their faces and reactions will make it all worth while.

As for the ride Fantasyland is your best bet, There you have the carousel, Snow white, Peter Pan and Pinocchio which are great for little children, Dumbo the flying elephants, and of course its a small world. None of these have a height limit, along with Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the caribbean I will be trying all these out with my Daughter and husband. One great tip I was given was to take your own buggy as the ones you can rent dont recline and to get a harness so you can hold onto Him/Her on rides. Just in case they squirm a bit.

Have a great time !
not many but if the adults are allowed on the ride then you can ride withthem most kid ride dont let adults on but some will if you ask for the kiddy land manager he will tell you which rides to get on and probaly get you right in without standing inline
