What is the least crowded days of the week for each Walt Disney park?

I was looking at the WDW calendar for Dec and Jan and noticed that they are not open later on the weekends. Even some weekends they close earlier than weekdays. I frequent Disneyland and they are always open later on the weekends. And Fri, Sat, and Sun. are always more crowded than the rest of the week. Is this the case for Walt Disney World? I am just puzzled as to why they are not open later on the weekends (Fri, Sat, Sun). I was planning to go to hang around the hotel and go to Downtown Disney on the day of the week I thought the parks would be more crowded but now I'm not sure what day that would be?What is the least crowded days of the week for each Walt Disney park?
Check out Disney's website, where they post Extra Magic Hours for the resort guests. The day after a park has Extra Magic Hours is usually a good day to go. Jan is definitely one of the best months to go, because it is lower crowds. But when there are lower crowds, there are shorter hours. Least crowed days are monday but its still crowded
Yes,Tues. and Wed. Because most people who work take Monday off for a 3 day weekend or Friday off for a 3 day weekend, and not Thursday because alot of teenagers apparently go out on Thursday nights. I have no clue why. So Tuesday and Wednesday are your best bet. Good luck!
