How can you get on Disney Channel?

I want to be on Disney channel, and I live in Chicago. I never see any auditions for Disney or anything else, how can I know about auditions? How can you get on Disney Channel?
You're probably not talented enough to be on Disney channel, you have to be good-looking and know how to sing. How can you get on Disney Channel?

Here are the corporate auditions for the Disney parks. This is a good place to start, especially since the touring travels all the time. Keep an eye on it, and when anything comes to your town, or if you're able to travel to something, go for it.

If you have an agent, they can help you get television auditions, but that's not a requirement for Disney. Disney does discover people on their own, who don't yet have agents. This is why being a talent for Disney in any capacity is a good way to get discovered by them. You may need to relocate in order to work for Disney.

At the very least, check out that site to see what the audition experience is like. It's very informative, and explains what they're looking for. Good Luck!
Before you can do anything, you need a resume, headshots, and an agent.

HEADSHOTS: The cheapest unprofessional headshots run at at least $125 for one look. You should go for the professional headshots, which run in the $400 range and you'll want a variety of looks(funny, sexy, cute, etc.) Here are some good headshot tips: http://acting411.blogspot.com/2007/11/he鈥?/a>

EXPERIENCE: No company is going to even look at you without experience. Audition for your local community center or take some acting classes. Any experience is good to have on a resume, even high school drama club.

RESUME: On the resume you'll want to write all of your experience, what industry you're looking into, and other talents you possess (piano, guitar, accents) Here is a good example of a beginners' resume: http://actinginfo.blogspot.com/2007/09/b鈥?/a>

AGENT: To apply for an agent interview, you send in a copy of your resume with your headshots. Here are some important links that will show you how to get an agent and what to expect in an interview: http://talentagents.blogspot.com/2008/05鈥?/a>

Once you have your agent, you can ask him about Disney auditions and such. Be warned, this is an EXTREMELY difficult industry to get into. Disney wants multi-talented stars (singing/dancing/acting). Almost every Disney star has some sort of experience as a young child (Raven-Cosby Show, Demi and Selena-Barney, etc.)

Don't go in expecting fame, because you'll only be setting yourself up for disappointment. If fame comes then good for you. Hope i helped and Good Luck!
