Is the Disney Dining Plan worth the money?

We are planning a trip to Disney World. I was wondering if the dining plans are worth the money because they are not cheap. Should I just spend the extra $400 on the dining plus plan or should I just pay cash? If I don't get the plan we will probably only eat lunch and maybe a snack each day (2 adults) If you have any idea on how much the average lunch on the park would cost I'd appreciate that info.

I think it is worth it. see site below for all WDW menus and prices. You can add up what two lunches and snacks would cost you.

But realize you will get very hungry and thirsty there. You are outside almost all day walking. A couple of good meals is a good idea.

It kind of limits you, so if you want more of something you'd have to pay out of pocket. Look over the plans and see what each one includes. They are a little flexible, so If you think that's enough, then go for it. If you find out it's too much or not enough, I wouldn't go with the plan.



If you stick to the plan, you can save a little money.

Depends on how much you plan on eating at WDW. If you're going to use it for everything, it's a must. If you're only using it for snacks, just use out-of-pocket expenses.
If you'll be taking full advantage of it, defiantly. But if all you're using is the lunch and snack, then I'd just pay out of pocket.
