They'll be back. Disney always goes through fallow periods...check out their product from the '60s and '70s and you'll see what I mean. However, Pixar has a pretty great track record, and they've somewhat supplanted the traditional hand-drawn Disney films.
Don't make the mistake of thinking that everything is going downhill now...trust me, there have always been crummy, stupid movies like "BH Chihuahua" or "High School Musical". Part of the reason is that young kids aren't very picky about what they see and their parents only care that there isn't any bad words or drug use, and they're often so braindead that they'll see a movie about a rapping chihuahua and deem it "cute".
Hold on to your tacos, amigos!
well, i guess its been taken over by computer generated animations.
Theyr mostly in 3D now.
i think it started when Toy Story came up =P (blame pixar!hehe..)
oh, and its the freakin hollywood trend to star pretty young people nowadays like in highschool music etc etc...
it really has become a trend u know.
but old disney movies like bambi, snow white, beauty n the beast are legendary now. we'll never forget the classics =DWhat ever happen to those good disney movies?
CGI animation is the 'in thing' these days. I guess they think that kids would not watch the films if they were classically animated, even though kids watch old cartoons and still love them.
I honestly do not know. American culture is slowly getting stupider, I suppose. :/
I really miss traditional animation, though. CGI doesn't do much for me.What ever happen to those good disney movies?
yes-times are changing...
BUT still there's - wall e, shrek, the incredibles, madagascar, finding nemo, horton hears a who etc.
and theyre just as good as the oldies-dont you think?
