Magic Kingdom- Pirates of the Caribbean, Jungle Cruise, Country Bear Jamboree, just about everything in Fantasyland, TTA, Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, Monsters Inc Laugh Floor, and dont forget about meeting the characters.

DisneyWorld consists of different theme parks. The most famous park is the Magic Kingdom (the one with the princess castle). If you are only going to spend a short time in Orlando, Florida; especially with a toddler, the Magic Kingdom is sufficient enough. Depending on how fast you walk, how often you take breaks and how long you stand in lines, it could take anywhere from a whole day to a couple days, to see everything. Be prepared that the lines to the rides and attractions can get pretty long, up to an hour wait. So if you don't have that kind of patience, they sell a "fast pass" per person for an additional fee so you don't have to wait forever standing in line. There's a bunch of kiddy and boat rides (my favorite boat ride is "it's a small world"), a wide variety of shows, there are parades during the day and evening and at night there's fireworks. you can ride the train that goes around the park to save you from walking alot.
There is a parking fee to park @ Magic Kingdom. So my suggestion to avoid the parking fee is to park @ Downtown Disney- parking there is free and then take a bus to any resort where it stops and then take another bus to the Magic Kingdom. The bus transportation to the Magic Kingdom is free.
Feel free to stroll as well in Downtown Disney, it is free to enter and it's an attraction on it's own.What are some of the attractions my one year old would enjoy at disney world?
Well, it depends on the park that you go to. Disney World has four parks. If you take him to Animal Kingdom, he will see the animals, which might be fun for him, and they're might be a ride or two that he could go on. But there's also Magic Kingdom which he might enjoy, which is the one with Cinderella's castle. There's a special area for toddlers and little kids, which includes meet and greets with Disney characters, Mickie and Minnie's 'houses', and some rides. I'm not sure if he would be too small for the rides though. I would check with Disney World's website. It has a list of all the rides in each park, and you can see for yourself. At one year old, he won't remember it at all, and it could be sensory overload. Stay in the Dumbo ride area, Toon Town, Small World. Takes lots of pictures to prove to him he was there. We took my daughter when she was 3 and she doesn't remember, but we have the pictures. We went in June, and I remember standing in line for rides that were inside or had A/C, or at least had the potential to have water splashed on you.

Much too young! we spend a lot of time and money on our kids,save the money,buy them a plastic pool for the backyard and a beach ball! when they get older 12-15 they'll appreciate travel and adventure much more, i regret taking our son there,it was misery! long lines he was always wanting a drink,$7.00 for a soda, etc....AhHHh Red.
