How much money should I bring to disney for spending on the dining plan?

We are goingt o disney world in July , My husband and Me and my 2 kids 12 aand 9 . we are staying in th park and we are on the dinning plan . How much more do you thnk I needHow much money should I bring to disney for spending on the dining plan?
Smart move on staying on property and getting the meal plan!

Aside from that you will need to tip at any of the nice sit down places you eat. We tend to do at least $10 a meal which might seem high, but the service is worth it and our bills for the nice sit down places tend to be at least $90 (of course we get the meal plan too so it really does not cost that).

Other than that I would say another $100 for extra snacks and drinks during the week (would be shocked if you used all of it). Keep in mind you can also get a refill mug at your resort which will give you unlimited refills at your resort ONLY. Can save a ton of money if you or the kids want drinks in the morning, while you are at the pool, when you get back from the parks or late at night. They cost right around $8 and it lasts your entire trip.

Also remember that you can use your meal plan snacks and meals however you so choose. For example if your husband one day does not want his snack then that leaves an extra snack for one of the kids. Or if one day your 9 year old does not feel like a quick serve lunch then that leaves an extra quick serve for someone else... could get a breakfast at your resort and everyone gets a few bites. Also remember that your "snacks" are more or less anything in the parks or your resort under $8... milkshake, ice cream, slice of pizza. Also Goofys candy shop is a great place to use snack credits.

Other than that between your room, tickets and meal plan your trip is paid for. The only extra (besides tips) is going to be for gifts... how much you spend with that is up to you. Maybe give each kid $50 to spend on whatever they want... or more or less depending on how much you like to spend.

Have a wonderful time! How much money should I bring to disney for spending on the dining plan?
it depends on what you want to buy. You will not need money for food unless you want alcohol, which is not served in Magic Kingdom.

Souveniers- I would say at least 10 per person per day.

mouse ears are 10-15

passports are about 10

epcot, world showcase, you can get stuff for 10 or under

in studios, there is a 10 or under store.

Also if you want t-shirts, etc. these are around 30- so plan accordingly for these as well

Change for arcades- I would say 20.00 per park- like toy story's pizza planet, and the arcade in MK.

You will need a fan with a mister, these run around 20 each.

drink cups, refillable are around 10 per person plus 1 per refill.
