How long should I stay at walt disney world?

I understand theres alot to do. I want to go to the magic kingdom(2 or 3 days), epcot(21/2 days), hollywood studios(1/2 day to 1 full day), animal kingdom(1/2 day), one of the water parks, downtown disney, and have plenty of money to save. How long should I stay and save time and money? I heared theres a dining plan too.How long should I stay at walt disney world?
I would say you need about 10 days. Here is a basic plan of what you could do:

Day 1- Arrive Downtown Disney

Day 2- Magic Kingdom

Day 3- Epcot

Day 4- Break Day

Day 5- Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon

Day 6-Epcot

Day 7-Magic Kingdom

Day 8- Break day

Day 9- Epcot and Animal Kingdom

Day 10-Hollywood Studios

Day 11- Leave

If you stay on Disney Property you should get the Disney Dining plan. I get the feeling you didn't book, but depending on when you are going they are giving the Dining Plan away for free (They are giving it out until December 17, I just got an e-mail)

I also would recommend getting Park Hoppers they allow you to visit more than one park per day, meaning you can go to Epcot in the morning and Animal Kingdom at night. It may cost extra but you will find that it helps a lot.

Try this website for tips and menus if you are going to make Advance Dining Reservations: http://allears.net/index.html
2 days for Magic Kingdom (fantastic), 2 days for Epcot, 1 day for Disney Studios, 1 day for Animal kingdom. You can spend a full day at the water park..I recommend Typhoon Lagoon! Downtown Disney..1 day! Its expensive to eat in the parks!

I also recommend Universal Studios and Universal Island of Adventure, 1 day in each. And what about Seaworld? Really, I went for a fornight and was exhausted!!

Busch Gardens is fantastic too!How long should I stay at walt disney world?
How about 9 days? I just got back from a 9-day Disney trip and it was just right - everyone got to see and do everything they wanted to do, sometimes more than once.

I'd recommend staying at one of Disney's Value Resorts. They are the most affordable resorts on Disney property and have all the perks that the other resorts have - you get Extra Magic Hours (extra hours before/after scheduled park opening/closing times just for resort guests), Disney's bus transportation to and from your hotel from all the theme parks, the two water parks, and Downtown Disney.

If you're interested in staying on site, I'd definitely suggest Pop Century to you. It is a little larger than the other Value resorts, but it has its own buses (the others share a bus, so it takes much longer to get back to your hotel): http://allears.net/acc/faq_pop.htm

About the dining plan....there are different levels to it. There's just the basic Disney Dining Plan, the Deluxe Disney Dining Plan, and the Quick Service Dining Plan. Here are some reviews from all three: http://land.allears.net/reviewpost/showc鈥?/a>

I personally don't think it's worth the money - you pay a set fee up front and you get three full (and I mean full) meals a day, plus snacks. For my family and me, it's just too much food and it would be a waste of money for us.

However, I have heard great things about the DDP, so please read those reviews and decide for yourself.

If you're going in the summer, remember to drink PLENTY of fluids (eating fruit helps as well) to stay hydrated; the parks are especially hot this time of year, particularly Hollywood Studios (there's little in the way of greenery to create shade throughout the park, and concrete is abundant).

Have a great time!
We've been visiting WDW for more than twenty years and stay seven nights. We go to the parks seven days and yet it's never enough. We are never ready to leave and hardly cover any ground it seems. In all these years we've never even been to a water park. We are planning on ten days at the parks next visit. I'm sure that won't be enough either but at some point we would have to return home. So in answer to your question (sorry it took so long) stay as long as you possibly can. Stay at the very least 7 nights. If you can afford the time and money stay longer if you can.

As far as the dining is concerned it is a very good deal. The only drawback to the restaurant dining is all the time it takes you away from the attractions. You have to make dining reservations before you arrive otherwise you will not get a table. Therefore, you must rush to your restaurant of choice to be there on time which means you have to leave whatever it is you were doing regardless if you're hungry or not. I don't like being on a dining schedule but yet I can't have fast food for that length of time so we get the dining plan that covers sit down restaurants. If you don't mind eating fast food for a consecutive number of days than get the counter service dining plan. Your schedule won't be rigid. And you'll eat when you're actually hungry. How long should I stay at walt disney world?
ok to be honest with you, i would say that for magic kingdom two days, epcot two days, hollywood studios two days and animal kingdom a full day. you need at least a week to see the main parks and if your going to one of the water parks you could do that on one of the mornings your at the parks before you go to the main ones. and the same for downtown disney you could go there in the afternoon. i personally go over for two weeks and spend most of it at disney, i spend three days out of my holiday at universal and seaworld and the rest going to disney. there is soooooo much to see, if your staying in disney you can make the most of their dining plan which you can read about on their website see link below.
I live in Orlando. And A LOT of people have vacation rental property down here, or sometimes people like to exchange their house. If you own your house, and live in a desirable location, you might want to look in to that idea (it will save you tons).

Also, I of course don't know if you have seen Disney deals online or T.V., but if you go on your birthday you get into a park for free (just one day)! They also have deals for Military.

I absolutely LOVE Animal Kingdom and Epcot. You might want to do some research, especially if you have kids, as to which park would be the best for your interest. I would suggest you go in August; yes it's hot, yes it's hurricane season, but the line are short. During the peak time lines can be 2-3 hours long!

Sorry I don't really know too much about the meal plan, like I said I live here. Good Luck! We need more tourist here!!!

Oh and forgot to mention: it's expensive- EVERYTHING!
The dinning plan can work for you. I always felt it was a waste of food because they give you soo much. The best thing to do is to look into it.

2or 3 weeks in disney is what your looking at in that scedule. there is plenty to do in disney. Not only can you do the parks, but touring the hotels can be fun too. If you stay on disney property you have th right to tour all the on property pools and such.

Save money?---Don't buy the no expiration on your ticket! its a waste.

hope this helps! Have fun in disney:)
OK, first thing you should understand is that Disney World is not a vacation...it's more like an endurance test. A really fun endurance test, but nevertheless...

Two strong suggestions: STAY ON DISNEY PROPERTY and GET A PARKHOPPER PASS!!!

If you stay on Disney property, you can use the Extra Magic Hours, which means you get to enter certain parks before they open to the public, or stay in certain parks after they close to the public. When you check into your resort, they will give you a schedule of Extra Magic Hours for all four parks.

The Parkhopper Pass enables you to visit more than one park on the same day.

You really need to visit http://www.allearsnet.com and soak up all the details you can about Disney World. It will save you time and money.

Have a wonderful trip!
Yes there is a dining plan.

I think 8-10 days would be enough. That gives you 4 days for each of the parks, a day at a water park, and a day at Downtown. and a couple days to visit your fav. park again.

About money, dont book many fancy meals. They restaurants are really good though. So maybe 1 or 2 if you want to save a lot.

As for time, dont rush. Thats normal for people to do in disney world. Just have fun! You'll be satisfied with your vacation
There's SO MUCH to do. You should definitely stay for at least a week. I'll include some links that could really help you out... You can even get free fancy dinners if you stay at the right time :) Okay, here are those links:
2 WEEKS!!! atleast 2 weeks. there's just os much to do and its so fun. if u go less than 2 weeks u wont have time for everything because u also might want a day or 2 just to relax by the pool or something. i going in a week and a half for 2 weeks and im pumped. have fun.
i agree with lots a people about two weeks! or like what my parents and i have a one week free thing with a camping place called "thousand trails" and you can stay a week free in any thousand trails camp site in the U.S.! and we stayed in florida free for a week and we went to disney world which is only nine miles away! it was SO nice!
I would stay there a full week :]

A day for each park; Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom.

Then another day for Downtown Disney (I suggest going into the DisneyQuest at Downtown Disney)

And the last day to redo whatever you enjoyed most!!
I've been to Disney World three times and each time I've gone at least a week or more. The first time I went I went almost for two weeks but that was because it was my first time so I had to everything. I think you should stay at least seven-nine days.
A week is ample time. If you have small children you don't want to stay out all day and older kids will want to stay longer. A week gives you time to experience everything instead of rushing without getting burnt out.
10 days. I went for 10 days last summer and it was perfect. Although I didn't want to leave. We are going again for 10 days and I am so excited.
i would say a bout a week or two.

my cousins went there for a week and they spent like $2000-3000 there only in a week!!!!

so a week or two is good
At least one day per park!! The magic kingdom and epcot maybe 2. The waterparks is another day per park. Downtown disney has SO much to do so could spend anywere from 1-5 days there!!

Have fun!
:( I miss Disney World. I haven't been there since I was 6 years old. Okay well...you don't want to stay TOO LONG. I would say stay there 4-5 days. The dining is good too.
Stay as long as you possibly can. I've been five times for a week each and still haven't seen everything. Enjoy Sweetie!!!!!!!!!
2 years
A week to save money, but it does go by fast.
from 5-9 days, that way you can stay long enough to do everything!!!!
two weeks if you can afford.the restaurants on disney are state of the art.
1 year and 6 month
1 year and 5 months

-LMS
Forever--but we stay 2 weeks %26amp; it goes too fast
I would say at least 5 days...one day per park is enough
more 10 days
stay for 10 days and get the free dining
a week
