This is a good example of counting your eggs before they hatch. Every year we take a vacation with our tax refund, and this year we planned a trip to Disney World. However, we have just discovered that we will not be getting the usual amount back. In fact, we are getting a lot less. Short answer: no. Long answer: it's not that kind of place. You can contact the board of tourism for their free info and you'll get coupons to some restaurants and attractions, but not AT Disney. You may save a lot by staying off-property in a place with a kitchen and buying groceries. Try to eat as little as possible at Disney unless you have already got the dining plan. That's about all you can save on. Tickets cost what they cost. You can avoid the souvenirs in the parks and buy cheap stuff elsewhere.How can I get discounts to Disney World?
All depends on when you go.
Disney.com offers discounts throughout the year on rooms and meals, sometimes deals on tickets.
Orbitz.com sometimes offers ticket discounts but you cannot get the meal plan through them
Deltavacations.com right now has several discounts for kids (play or eat free)
I suggest going through either Disney or Deltavacations. Also if you go through Disney book your air through a third party such as orbitz or Southwest. Southwest always has great air to Orlando (MCO).
You can also save money by staying with Disney. Gives you more time at the parks, the meal plan as a choice as well as no need for a rental car or taxi since they will pick you up and drop you off at the airport. Also wont have to worry about the $14 a day parking fee.
