In about 2 weeks my grandparents are taking me on a trip to Disney World. I'll have about 3 1/2 days there, and I'm planning to spend the half day at Epcot. I'm really intersted in meeting characters and getting their autographs because I've only been once before and hardly met any characters.
So, I was wondering if there are any characters you can meet either only at Epcot or are most common there. Thanks! What Disney Characters (If Any) Only Appear At Epcot?
We were just there a couple weeks ago but I don't have my maps any longer. The maps shows the locations and approximate hours the characters appear. At Epcot there was the Donald Duck in serape and sombrero from Three Amigos in Mexico, Snow White was in the Germany area, Belle was in France - I think she was the everyday Belle in plain blue dress, not the princess version; I believe Aladdin and Jasmine were in Morocco. Mulan in China. At Animal Kingdom we saw Pocahontas and Rafiki in that nice air conditioned conservation building all the way at the back of the park. At Magic Kingdom there was a building with two rooms - one had three princesses including Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella and Belle, and the other had three fairies one of which was Tinker Bell. I don't remember the names of the other two now. Buzz Lightyear was in Tomorrowland on the waiting line ramp to one of the rides, and Stitch was near the same ride. Stitch was very funny - you really should try to get a pic with him. He was doing silly things like sticking his finger in peoples' ears, etc. Of course, Mickey and Minnie are together in Mickey's Toon Town. Those are the only ones I can think of right now, but like I said, the maps have locations and schedules, so check those out as soon as you get to each park and that will help you plan your time there.
I have a picture from a very long time ago (about 1987, I'd say) of my older son--who was about 4 at the time--standing next to Mickey Mouse, who was wearing a colonial outfit, outside of the American Adventure in Epcot.
I've never really understood the autograph thing, and they didn't have that when my kids were little. Thank goodness.
Meeting characters makes for a nice photo, but when you consider it's just Disney World employees wearing costumes, it's kind of not such a thrill for anyone who's not a little kid. At least, that's how I feel about it.
I say, go, enjoy, and if you meet up with some characters, great--but I'd focus on doing more interesting things if I were you. What Disney Characters (If Any) Only Appear At Epcot?
The only ones that we saw at Epcot, not featured at the Magic Kingdom show or anywhere, was Mulan (in China). Other "major" princesses are pretty much at Magic Kingdom and so the Epcot ones are repetitive.
I love the characters too! There a a lot of character meet-and-greet spots around Epcot. My family's favorite character encounter at Epcot was dinner at the Garden Grill. It would be fun without the characters because the restaurant rotates around the inside of the 'land' pavilion. The characters are Mickey (dressed as a farmer), Chip, Dale, and Pluto. The food was good, the booths are private, and the characters come to you.
Hollywood Studios has a lot of characters you don't see elsewhere. They have a lot of Pixar characters. We even saw Bolt, Mittens, and Rhino before the Bolt movie came out. What Disney Characters (If Any) Only Appear At Epcot?
This might help
http://allears.net/tp/ep/ep_char.htm
It is a list of characters at Epcot. It doesn't answer the question of which ones are exclusive to Epcot, but I'm sure a little clicking around the allears.net site will help.
Be sure to go to Guest Services when you first get to the park and ask for a schedule of when the characters should be out.
When we went we saw, Belle in her peasant dress %26amp; The Best. Mary Poppins %26amp; Alice. And Alladin %26amp; Jasmine.
You can sign up for a Princess Breakfast at Akserhaus (I don't think I spelled that right). It's expensive, but all the pricesses there are guaranteed to stop by your table for pictures %26amp; autographs.

The characters appear at all the parks - although lots of the princess' at Epcot are in a more common form - for example Ariel usually appears as a human, not a mermaid, and Belle usually appears as just simple, instead of wearing her gown. Mickey and Minnie usually appear at all the parks too!
However, if your going to the Magic Kingdom, you'll see most of the characters, theres always some walking around! http://allears.net/tp/mk/mk_char.htm
Hope this helps!
You'll find many characters at EPCOT.
Characters Connection Meet %26amp; Greet across Innoventions West (Future World) is an indoor air conditioned area where you'll see Donald Duck, Goofy, Mickey, Minnie, Tiger and perhaps others. These are the characters we saw when we were there in December. You should try to see them when you first arrive at the park.
At World Showcase we've seen Alice and her friends (from Wonderland). You'll see Winnie The Pooh and friends in a toy shop in England. On our last trip Princess Aurora was giving out autographs in France. You'll find Jasmine, Aladdin, and the Genie in a little shop around the back in Morocco. It's hidden and most people aren't aware it's there.
Keep in mind these Meet %26amp; Greets are scheduled. Therefore make sure when you get to the park you find out what time they will be out giving autographs.
Have fun!
yeah there are no characters at epcot. they are all at magic kingdom. epcot is more.....culturally educational. go to magic kingdom to see the characters.
