I'm trying to get info about planning a Senior trip to Disney World with friends?

It will be me and at least 5 other people. It will be next summer, after we have all graduated. I am thinking it will be best in sometime end of June, or during July so it doesn't conflict with all of us leaving for college in late August. We want to go to all the disney parks, and Discovery Cove. And really any fun activities we can fit into it. But I am not exactly sure about how to go about planning it and all that. So any help/advice etc would be greatly appreciated!I'm trying to get info about planning a Senior trip to Disney World with friends?
I have some advice: Don't go to Florida in June/July unless you're ready to face 100+ degree weather and extremely oppressive humidity. Disney Land in California would be a much better choice.

If you are still going through with it, you could try setting up a trip through Disney. You get the flight, hotel, and possibly park admission (you may want to check that part) in one package. The only downside is that if your flight is canceled or delayed you have to contact Disney to rebook because Disney bought the ticket and you paid for it.

You could also opt for the slightly more complex way, which is more convenient if your flight gets canceled or delayed. Many travel websites like orbitz, travelocity, and priceline let you book flights, hotels, and rent cars all at the same time, which they all claim saves you money. You can also do this on most airline's websites, but I think a travel website is easier because all the flight, hotel, and car options are displayed right in front of you and you can pick what you want.

Either way works fine; choose whichever booking option sounds best. Both are good options with their pros and cons. Remember: when renting a car, make sure one of you is 18 years old or more (which I'm assuming you are) because that is I believe the minimum age for car rental.
Tinker Fairy, thanks for you very helpful answer!! I wanted you to get best answer.....

The heat is bearable... and rarely gets in the 100's, but do expect 90's.

Bring light clothes (shorts %26amp; tees/tank tops, or wear bathing suit tops) %26amp; comfortable sandals in case you want to cool off by getting wet (they have some places you can get splashed to cool down and of course there is always Splash Mountain %26amp; Kali River Rapids).

Bring a hat and one of those little fans, preferrably that mist you with water. And sunscreen. Bring a rain poncho as afternoon showers are common that time of year, but frankly we just dress to get wet and keep walking. You'll all be fine.

You can call Disney to plan the trip but before you put any mone

Planning a trip to Disney can be so much fun! Sometimes it's just as much fun as actually going to Disney itself! I have planned over 20 trips for myself, and numerous trips for other people as well. Here's some of the steps you can take to plan your vacation.

1. First, order yourself the completely free Disney Vacation Planning DVD. You don't even pay shipping, it's free and it will come quickly. It will give you an overview of everything you need to know.

You can order that here: http://www.disneyvacations.com

2. Pick your dates. You can't currently book for next summer yet, but that's a good thing. That means you will be able to pick your resort %26amp; dates without getting shut out. I would suggest staying at a Disney Resort, rather than staying off property, but that is up to you. By staying at a Disney Resort, you get free parking to all the parks, free transportation from the airport to your resort, free transportation to any parks and Downtown Disney, and extended hours in the parks that others will not get. Plus, the resorts are closer in proximity to the parks than any outside hotels are.

When choosing a Disney resort, you have 3 levels to choose from. Value resorts, which are the lowest price level but offer the least amenities, Moderate resorts which offer the middle price level and offer more amenities, and Deluxe resorts which are very expensive but off the most for your money. Honestly, all of the Disney resorts are beautiful. Since you'll be spending a lot of time in the parks, don't worry too much about getting a big pricey room. Pop Century is a great value resort, and it has its own bus system. That means no waiting for buses from other resorts! The theming there is top notch too. Here is where you can explore all the various resorts, and choose yours:

3. Once you've chosen your resort, decide what kind of park tickets you'd like to purchase. When you say you want to do all the Disney Parks, I assume you mean the main 4 parks, and not the water parks. If so, you will need a 4 day ticket. A base 4 day ticket means you can enter one park a day for 4 days. They don't have to be in a row - but must be used within 14 days. Another option is to get a Park Hopper added on to your ticket. This means you can enter more than one park in one day. If you had this, you could do 2 parks in 1 day, and technically only have a 3 day ticket. Or do 2 parks one day and 2 parks another day, and just have a 2 day ticket. The Park Hopper is extra. Here is the ticket site. Talk with your friends, experiment with the various prices, and come up with what works best for your group:

4. Now you've decided on tickets, wait until you are able to book for next summer. When they open reservations, call 1-407-WDW-INFO. You can book your trip over the phone with them as a package. They will take down your airline information, get your tickets ready for you, and book your hotel room. This is a "Magic Your Way" package. When you land in Orlando, someone from Disney will pick up your bags for you %26amp; deliver them to your room. All you have to do is get onto the Magical Express bus straight from your flight gate. When you check into your room, they will have all of your information for you, and you'll be all set.

5. When 180 days before your trip arrives, you are going to want to make any Dining Reservations that you want. Most good restaurants in Disney book up 180 days in advance, and it's very frustrating to get there and not realize this. Here is a Dining Calculator that you can use to figure out your 180 day, once you book your dates.

Here is a list of all Disney Restaurants, so you can glance at those and pick some fun ones.

And that's it! Have fun looking at resorts %26amp; restaurants, it's a lot of fun. Disney will help you with everything, they are very accomodating. Have a great trip!
