We are planning a Disney Vacation in the middle of October. We have a 3 year old and 4 year old, and I am looking for input as to the best places to take them, best rides for them, etc. Thanks!Best family activities to do at Disney world Orlando?
I doubt you will want to take a 3 and 4 year old on roller coasters. lol
There are many fun things for that age at Disney World. The most important thing is going to be planning your days so that they do not get overwhelmed or over-tired. I went with my kids at the same age and used Custom Mouse Plans. They did a great job planning our trip. They included some things I didn't even know were there! We had nap breaks and they made great dining reservations at restaurants that were perfect for my kids! I highly recommend them!

There is plenty to do there with the family. Are you staying at a resort, or off site? If you are at a resort, in addition to the parks, the resort have activities going on as well.
The "Kidcot" stations in the Epcot countries are great! You go to the first station and get a mask they can color, then at each additional station they add a piece that can also be colored (a gingerbread cookie in Germany, a flor-de-lise in France).
The campfire sing-alongs are great fun and free unless you buy stuff for the campfire like a s'mores kit. Character dinners are also a lot of fun. Find the one that has the characters your kids like most.
The Magic Kingdom has a whole "land" for kids to explore and play in. They also have a nice little story time time by the castle with Belle and the Beast. You can also have some fun things done with their hair at the barber shop for a lot cheaper than the Bippidi Boppidi Boutique.
Regardless of what you decide, you'll have a GREAT time!!!Best family activities to do at Disney world Orlando?

October is a wonderful time to visit! The weather should still be warm enough to enjoy water activities, but it won't be as sweltering as it is now. :)

The Bone Yard
Kilimanjaro Safari
All of Dino-land, with the exception of the ride Dinosaur, which is pretty scary
Camp Minnie Mickey area - great for autographs!
Tree of Life (note: The It's Tough to be a Bug show is great, but Hopper is big and can be kind of scary for young children so use your own discretion)

Some of my favorite tips for families traveling with young children:
1. Pack their clothes for each day (including undies) into large zip lock bags. With a Sharpie marker, write each day of the week on the outside of the bag. Getting dressed each day on vacation will be much easier, and it will save room in your luggage.
2. Pack 2-3 boxes of non-perishable snacks into your checked luggage. Good options include granola bars, nutra grain bars, dried fruit, etc... take these with you into the parks so you're ready with snacks when they get hungry in between meals.
3. Take lots of breaks during the day. Enjoy a nap at your resort or a dip in your pool, and then return later to enjoy the rest of your day in the park.
Have a wonderful family vacation!
