Is it illegal to have a Disney character tattooed on your body?

Anything Disney? Characters, symbols or even the name? I heared somewhere that it might be and I just wanted to confirm.

Absolutely not...can you imagine all the hundreds of people that would be locked up for having a tat like that....

plus all the people with Harley tats,

and all the people with Betty Boop,

all the Warner Brothers characters.....

bet you can think of a lot more.

Besides, it's free advertising for them.

No. Get whatever you want. There are tons of people who have Taz tattoos and Warner Brothers isn't suing them.

It could probably be considered copyright infringement - but I wouldn't worry about it - I don't see Disney chasing down everyone that has a Disney character tattoo on their body. (Hubby has two different characters on him - a friend has a very obvious M. Mouse on her leg and after a whole day at Disney World no one had said a word)

No. My wife has a cute little Eeyore on her ankle. The tattoo artist was only too happy to help.

I've seen plenty of people with Disney and Warner Bros. characters on their bodies. I'm sure it's not illegal.

It is not illegal for you to have the tattoo, however the artist is making money selling a trademarked or copywrited character so maybe it is for them
Not at all. It is illegal to take Disney art sent to stores and stuff to advertise their merchandise but not to get a tattoo.
um i dont really know.. i dont think it would be.. you could probably get whatever you want as a tatoo.. i mean the disney company isnt going to find out what you have tatooed on your skin..
I don't think so. I've seen a person with minnie and mickey mouse tattooed on his leg?!?! :)
